2 XANDER NOORI Xander Noori s multifaceted approach to ideation is grounded on ergonomic principles infused with fresh beauty and usability creating interior projects, original product and furniture design developed with a unique vision to the future. As a student of design, Noori was recipient of the Interior Designer of Tomorrow scholarship and ultimately graduated with honors from FIDM, The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, a Los Angeles based design school. He received accolades including the Sally Sirkin Lewis Award and Cotton Corporation Scholarship and an A.A. in Interior Design and B.S. in Business Management. With a body of work spanning over a decade focused on interiors, product development, and industrial design, Noori worked as Creative Design Director to the esteemed firm Michael Berman Limited. There Noori honed his craft lending his creative acumen to multiple projects, including residential, commercial, and hospitality while primarily working alongside the principal dreaming up and designing licensed product collections. Many of his contributions while at MBL were nominees for various industry awards including the Pinnacle Awards with ASFD and the NYC X Design awards with Interior Design Magazine. Noori s eye for clean original styling and love of global discovery brings a distinctive approach to everything he touches from full environments, to furniture, textiles and surface design. Inspired by the juxtaposition of ancient cultures and contemporary society, Noori s work is filled with fresh and unexpected authenticity. He believes real innovation happens with quick napkin sketches on the go in cafes and coffee shops. Noori is always creating. He lives in Orange County California with his family and two daughters.
