48 nomique and the environment Maintaining an environmentally conscious ethos throughout the design and manufacture of Nomique seating is paramount to our core sustainability goals. To ensure that we produce products both stunning in design and gentle on the environment, we focus on an initiative of locally sourcing only the very best raw materials. The use of such premium componentry allows our design teams to concentrate just as much on what happens to our furniture at the end of its working life as they do on initial product conception. Use of timber which is FSC accredited is always promoted, and we will remain firmly subscribed to this programme. When it comes to steel, we are also making positive steps in the green direction. Not only is the metal fully recyclable, but the finishing methodology we implement is also becoming more environmentally conscious. As an example, Nomique have moved away from the use of chrome on our Chicago Modular range - instead opting for a much more ethical chrome effect powder coating. We like to call it eco-chrome. Nomique work closely with responsible manufacturers such as Camira, who are working on developing materials with higher wool content as opposed to the less environmentally conscious man-made fabric. BMA Nomique reserve the right to continuously improve our product offering, which may result in minor aesthetic and dimensional changes. Where these modifications occur, they will be carried out in such a way as to be sympathetic to the original design. E & O E
