As the seventh property to open under the Queensway Group s new brand, Point A Hotel Shoreditch taps into the wealth of art and creativity in the local vicinity, with illustrations and bespoke London centric murals found in all areas of the building. To maintain a refined and cultured feel, Amtico LVT flooring has been installed in all 181 rooms, as well as the hotel s social spaces, which comprise a variety of lounges and a breakfast area. The bedrooms feature the Amtico First collection in a Stripwood laying pattern, balancing supreme durability, performance and competitive pricing, with stunning aesthetics. The use of the First flooring maintains the Point A Hotels design cues, ensuring the new Shoreditch offering has a common theme with other properties. Complementing the bold, loud and quirky ethos of Shoreditch, the social spaces incorporate an angled staggered laying pattern with four products from the Signature collection. Providing a sophisticated and stunning finish, the flooring delivers highlights of vanilla, lightly limed grains and cooler browns all designed to complement the contemporary styling of the social spaces. In the bedrooms, Amtico First in provides a warming environment for residents, with the floor s sweeping grey linear grain offering beautiful and elegant spaces.

Combining unrivalled performance with outstanding value for money, the collection features a durable 0.3mm wear layer. Signature is our flagship collection of 163 products: 69 Woods, 43 Stones and 51 Abstracts. This sophisticated collection combines original palettes, distinctive patterns and stunning details. Wild Walnut AR0W7620 Manor Oak AR0W7970 Amtico First consists of 54 versatile wood, stone and abstract designs, available in a range of tile sizes and surface finishes. A seven year warranty is supplied as standard. The design-led, highperformance LVT products have a total thickness of 2.5 mm and a 1 mm wear layer. 4 Point A Hotel Laying Pattern Stripwood pattern This striking and bold finish is a twist on a classic approach. By taking a selection of four Amtico Woods and staggering them irregularly, the Offset Plank laying pattern is created, elevating the flooring from a functional element to a feature of the room. Throughout the social spaces at Point A Shoreditch, this pattern was laid at 45 degrees to bring a unconventional yet fascinating appeal to the area. 5 Leisure Concepts Amtico s LVT flooring is a product we ve used a lot on other projects, so we were already familiar with its many benefits in commercial applications; particularly the ability to mix a variety of products in different laying patterns to achieve an impressive overall finish. For Point A Shoreditch, Amtico LVT allowed us to develop an up market feel without committing to huge budgets, while also keeping wastage to an absolute minimum. Sarah Escolme Leisure Concepts

6 There were two to three key reasons for specifying Amtico for this project. The first was the durability of the product, which we know from experience will be high for its entire life cycle. The second reason was that, Amtico doesn t suffer from staining or smells, which is particularly important in a hotel environment. Finally, overall costs were critical, with LVT flooring proving far more suitable when considering initial outlay and lifecycle costs.
