2 Biographies Tony Crasi The Crasi Company, Inc 1212 Portage Trail Suite 400 Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio Tony Crasi is the president and founder of Crasi, Inc., an award winning residential design -build firm located in Akron Ohio. He has been designing and building luxury homes for the past 24 years. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kent State University and has been involved in the residential construction industry for over 32 years. Tony has judged many national and regional design competitions and currently serves on the NAHB Design and Custom Homebuilders committees. Tony also serves as a National Director and will be his local HBA president in He has been a frequent industry speaker and has been instrumental in developing numerous national design and construction related educational programs. Using his years of hands on experience, Tony s focus has been to teach builders and industry professionals how to use simple and affordable design techniques to create an expensive look within a reasonable budget. Lita Dirks Lita Dirks & Company 5300 DTC Parkway, Suite 150 Greenwood Village, CO Lita Dirks, president of Lita dirks & Co. is an award winning, nationally recognized leader in model home merchandising. Lita judges National and Regional design competitions, conducts lectures and seminars, and author s articles. Her professional affiliations include MIRM, NSMC, IIDA, and CAASH, and the new Seniors Housing Specialist designation. Lita has served on the NSMC and IRM Board of Trustees, the NAHB Design Committee, and currently sits on the NAHB 50+Housing Council s Board of Trustees. She has chaired most of the NSMC and IRM committees, including The National awards program. Lita was awarded the IRM presidential Award two years in a row and was honored by the NSMC as the recipient of the prestigious Bill Molster Award. 2

3 Anne Olson Olson Architecture 290 Second Avenue Niwot, CO Olson Architecture, Inc is an award winning 7-person architecture firm specializing in housing in all sizes and price ranges. Located near Boulder, Colorado, they work with homebuilders throughout the United States. Their clients include Standard Pacific Homes, Village Homes and Master Homebuilding Company, as well as many custom builders. Anne Olson, AIA, CAASH, brings over 20 years of experience in market driven residential architecture to her clients. She is a regular speaker at the International Builders Show and the Boomers and Beyond Symposium. Most recently, Olson Architecture, Inc. s work was featured in the Taunton Press book, The House to Ourselves, about creating the perfect home after the kids are gone. Dominick Tringali Dominick Tringali Architects 1668 Telegraph Road, Suite 250 Bloomfield, MI Dominick Tringali is the founder and the president of Dominick Tringali Architects, a full-service architecture firm specializing in luxury custom estates, market housing, and commercial design, as well as interior design and community planning. His firm s design philosophy is to understand the specific needs and lifestyles of each client, in order to deliver enduring designs which compliment the client s lifestyle. Under Dominick s leadership, DTA has grown into a team of 25 talented employees and a recognized leader in the design of high end communities and custom homes across the country. In addition to the work throughout the state of Michigan, Dominick Tringali Architects is expanding nationally, currently designing custom residences, multi-family developments, and entire communities together with builders in North and South Carolina, Florida, Texas, Oregon, Iowa, Ohio, Indiana, and Maryland.
