1 We re an Edmonton design firm with a talent for interiors. Our work starts with the basic elements and principles of design and then develops into something that s edgy, adventurous, and quietly unique. Creating breathtaking commercial and residential spaces is what we live for.
2 OUR SERVICES: Every project has different requirements. Design Eye is able to provide a scope of services unique to each client. We are pleased to provide the following services: CONTRACT DOCUMENTS Prepare working drawings for non-load bearing interior construction. Provide specification package relating to construction finishes and/or furniture. Collaborate with consultants in Mechanical, Electrical, and Architectural fields. Assist client in tender proceedings. PROGRAMMING Identify the needs and goals of the design project. Evaluate issues relating to space, existing conditions, and project resources. Identify life, safety, and code requirements. Develop schedules, coordinate with consultants, and provide recommendations. DESIGN Formulate design concepts that are appropriate and describe the character, function, and aesthetic of a project. Develop and present space plans, furniture layouts, millwork drawings, electrical, and communication requirements. Provide wall, window, floor, and ceiling treatments. Present finish selections including colors, hardware, art, accessories, and graphic/signage programs. Produce budgets for clients review. Create color and material boards to explain design intent.
3 OUR SERVICES: CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION Administer contract documents which include shop drawings and samples. Conduct site visits and inspections. Assist client in preparing and reviewing change orders. Oversee installation of furnishings, fixtures, and equipment on the client s behalf. Prepare deficiency list for client s use. CAD DRAWINGS Provide computer generated drawings produced in AutoCad format. FURNITURE Assess furniture requirements for end users. Put together options to present to client. Provide a list of specifications for procurement purposes. Choose furniture finishes that compliment interior space finishes. CONSULTING Meet with client and provide consultation with regards to color, fabric, and surface finish selections. Style identification and furniture arrangement. Assist in design of interior atmosphere by placement of artwork, decorative accessories, and other interior elements. ACCOMMODATION STUDIES Assist client in space strategies in helping to define long and short term accommodation requirements.
