4 How to Measure WIDTH INSIDE MOUNT (IM) INSTALLATION HEIGHT WIDTH HEIGHT TO FIND WIDTH Measure exact distance between inside surfaces of window frame at the top, middle, and bottom, and use the narrowest width. DO NOT MAKE ANY WIDTH DEDUCTIONS. WIDTH TO FIND HEIGHT Measure exact distance from inside surface at top of window to sill. If there is no sill, measure height to point where shade is to reach. WIDTH PROPOSED HEADRAIL LOCATION OUTSIDE MOUNT (OM) INSTALLATION HEIGHT 1½" TO 3" OVERLAP ON EACH SIDE TO FIND WIDTH Measure exact distance between the outermost points where the shade is to be placed. This measurement should overlap each side of window frame by at least 1½". Factory makes no deduction from your shade width dimensions. TO FIND HEIGHT Measure exact distance from where top of shade will be located to top of sill. If there is no sill or if shade is to overlap window frame, measure to point shade is to reach. 1½" TO 3" OVERLAP ON TOP & BOTTOM MEASURING TYPES FOR OUTSIDE MOUNT Tip-to-Tip: Tip-to-Tip Measure is the common measure type for most roller shades. Choosing this measure type will include the headrail "pegs" that mount the shade to the wall or frame. Cloth-to-Cloth: Cloth Measure is uncommon and should only be used for Outside Frame applications. The headrail is wider than the cloth of the shade which causes the "pegs" to extend beyond the width of the shade material. This total distance is 1 3 / 8 " wide, or a gap of 11 / 16 " on each side of the shade material. NOTE: For outside mount applications allow the blind to overlap 1 1 / 2 " to 3" on the sides, top and bottom of the window. You must add the overlap to your measurement; Levolor does not add width or height for overlap on Outside Mounted shades. 4 Phone

5 Critical Dimensions Reverse Roll Fabric is rolled so that it hangs off the front of the roll. Reverse roll is a free option. NOTE: Reverse roll is not available with the Cassette Valance option. Scalloped Upgrade Fabric drop limitation is reduced by 10 inches with scallop upgrade. Scalloped hem adds approximately 4" to the height of the roller shade and does not roll up into the shade. Cleaning Guide Light Control Care Instructions A brush-type vacuum attachment or feather duster should be used for cleaning. If your shade should become stained, you may clean it by dabbing the spot with a sponge dampened with lukewarm water test solution on indiscreet area first. 16 Options Standard Valance The Standard Valance is a 3 ½" wide grooved channel that contains the same fabric as the shade. NOTE: For patterns where there are vertical lines, these lines will run horizontally in the valance. Cassette Valance A cassette is an enclosed valance with a curved front panel, with a matching strip of material/fabric inserted across the face of the cassette. The cassette comes in two sizes, determined by the size of the shade and the thickness of the fabric. NOTE: The Cassette Valance is preselected for each fabric. It is available in four colors: white, black, brown and brushed aluminum. DECORATIVE HEM OPTIONS Scallops Decorative hems may be added to any roller shade by choosing from one of the styles shown below. Each hem must be finished with either a trim or fringe color. NOTE: Scalloped hems add approximately 4" to the height of the roller shade and does not roll up into the shade. The pull type for cordless roller shades with decorative hem is a coordinating tassel. Decorative Trim The trim is placed directly on the edge of the scallop while the 1" fringe hangs over the edge of the scallop. Please see page 9-10 of the Inspiration Guide within the sample book for additional information and photography. Decorative trim is not available to widths less than 26. STANDARD CORDED CLUTCH CONTROL STANDARD VALANCE CASSETTE VALANCE STRAIGHT TRADITIONAL WAVY CENTER POINT CENTER POINT DOWN UP AVAILABLE COLORS Black Cedar Gold Gray Rose Vanilla White Standard Corded Clutch system allows perfect positioning of the shade at any height. Pull only the cord to adjust the shade, keeping the fabric clean and undamaged. Chain is stainless steel. CORDLESS CONTROL TRIM FRINGE The design of our cordless control creates a clean profile across all of your windows, makes it easy to lift and lower your shade, and gives you peace of mind for homes with children and pets. NO CHARGE OPTIONS Continuous Cord Loop Cordless Cordless Pull Type Options Tassel Color-coordinated tassels let you raise and lower your shade without touching the fabric. Available on cordless. 17 MOTORIZATION OPTION Wireless Radio Frequency (RF) Motorization No line-of-site is required between the remote or switch and the shade in order to operate. The shade can be operated from up to 20 feet away through concrete walls. There are several types of controls offered with RF motorization as well: Single-Channel Remote Control This remote control controls all shades within range together. Five-Channel Remote Control This remote can be programmed to control shades on up to 4 individual channels or all shades together. This is a good option for homes with shades facing different directions. Single-Channel Wall Switch This option controls the shades in the same manner as the single-channel remote control. A professional installer or electrician should install this switch in your wall. Five-Channel Wall Switch The five-channel switch controls shades within range in the same manner as the fivechannel remote control. A professional installer or electrician should install this switch. Automatic Timer The automatic timer feature can be programmed to operate shades at certain times of day. This is a great security or energy-saving feature for your home. 20 Terms and Conditions Order Processing Telephone Orders Verbal orders are accepted as the dealer s responsibility. Each order will be repeated back by the Customer Service Representative. In certain instances, we may require written orders. Duplicated Orders All orders are confirmed after entry into our system. Customer Service is not responsible for duplicate orders caused by a written order following a telephone order or duplicate faxes. Freight Shipments outside the continental U.S. are subject to freight charges. Chargeable parts and returns for repair are subject to freight charges. Pricing and Terms All prices are subject to change without notice. Until credit is approved, terms are cash with order. Standard terms are Net 30 days from invoice date. Changes and Cancellations All products are custom-made to your specifications under tight deadlines. Once production has begun on your order, changes and cancellations cannot be made. Contract Orders All Contract Orders must be processed through Contract Customer Service at Claims and Returns Defective Merchandise All manufacturing defects must be reported to Customer Service within 30 days of receipt of shades. We may require the return of defective shades prior to repair or replacement. Incorrect Merchandise If any part of your shipment was made incorrectly,please advise Customer Service within 30 days. A replacement will be made at no charge if the problem was due to Levolor error. If the problem was due to dealer or customer error, the original order and replacement order will be full charge. Returns for Repair Prior to return for repair, contact Customer Service. We will request the order number, date, purchase order number, and type of product. Arrangements for return will be made at that time with directions as to how the shades should be returned. The package should be marked for easy identification both inside and outside, and should contain a written confirmation of the verbal repair instructions. Repairs should be packaged carefully. Product that has been mishandled or received in poor condition will be returned to the customer. Returns for Credit Returns can be accepted only if prior authorization has been obtained from Customer Service. Authorization will include instructions as to how the merchandise should be returned. Unauthorized returns will be refused. Freight Damage FedEx/FedEx Ground: If freight damage is visible, refuse the shipment. FedEx will inspect the damage and return to the shipping location. Contact Customer Service for further information. If freight damage is concealed, retain all packaging materials and contact Customer Service immediately (must be notified within 14 days).
