1 Take a self-guided tour through custom homes at the Fall Parade Gazette Special Sections Writer The Home Builders Association of Billings presents the Fall Parade of Homes, taking place today from 10 a.m. Ð 5 p.m. and again next weekend. The public is welcome to take a self-guided tour through these seven custom homes, built by Billings builders Dan Fleury Construction, Image Builders, Kenmark Construction, McCall Homes and Sheridan Builders. Two builders, Image and McCall, have two homes featured at this year's Parade. Touring the homes McCall Homes Parade houses, located in Josephine Crossing, east of Mullowney Lane and bordering the southwest corner of Norm's Island are both Energy Star certified. Side by side, these unique homes are the private homes of two McCall families. Image Builders has two homes on the tour as well, one located in the West End subdivision Greensleeves; the other a patio home in Ironwood, both of which are Energy Star certified. McCall and Image are both Energy Star Partners, meaning they that have partnered with Energy Star, a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy, to build certified energy efficient housing. Dan Fleury Construction's home is the other Energy Star certified home on the tour. This home, located in the August Ranch Estates, adjacent to the Yellowstone Country Club, is an elegant and refined pre-sold home with views of the golf course. Sheridan Builders is showing the largest home of the tour, located in the Yellowstone Ridge subdivision on Billings' West End. Kenmark Construction's home is also one of the largest, located in Lone Eagle

2 Estates, about four miles west of town. The Fall Parade of Homes continues today from 10 a.m. Ð 5 p.m. and again Sept. 19 from 4 Ð 8 p.m. and Sept. 20 and 21 from 10 a.m. Ð 5 p.m. A tour map is also published in the Fall Parade booklets, available at each home. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at any Fall Parade home. Children who are carried at all times in the homes do not need a ticket. Attendees are invited to vote for their favorite home. To be eligible to vote, participants must visit all seven of the Parade homes, circle their favorite builder on the back of their ticket and drop it in a voting box, located at all the homes.individuals that provide their name and phone number on the ticket when submitting their choice for People's Choice will be put into a drawing for $500 HBA bucks, to be used at any HBA member's business. The winner is selected after the Parade is over by random drawing, and is notified by phone by the HBA office. Custom home characterized by notable views Dan Fleury Construction Spalding Ave. In the August Ranch Estates, adjacent to the Yellowstone Country Club. To find the home, take the second entrance into Augusta Ranch off Rimrock Road, and turn left onto Spalding Avenue. Two bedrooms, three bathrooms 4,363 total Located in the country club community, Augusta Ranch Estates, Dan Fleury Construction's Fall Parade home at 3621 Spalding Ave. is an elegant and refined abode that boasts unobstructed views of the golf course.

3 The kitchen has an island with an eat-at bar that backs the living room. On the south wall a large cook top with build-in alder hood, accented with ceramic tiles, is an eye-catcher. A butcher block countertop is located the kitchen's west side. The home has vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan. The carpeted living room is warm and inviting. A fire- place with rounded hearth and cultured ledgestone surround sits in the corner. Large windows and a four-panel sliding glass French door on the home's north wall highlight the golf course views. The master suite is located on the east of the home, with a private exit to the deck. It features a vaulted ceiling and two large walk-in closets to the west. A warm Applesauce Cake color is applied on the walls. The master bathroom is immense, and has room for separate vanities and island storage with tiled tops, a tiled walk-in shower and Jacuzzi tub and private toilet nook. An arched-top picture window sits above the tub. Elegant home is packed with amenities Image Builders Mule Deer Court This Parade home is located off Hesper Road between 48th Street West and 56th Street West. Keep an eye out for the Greensleeves Subdivision to the left. After turning into Greensleeves, take a left on Blue Heron Drive, and continue to Mule Deer Court. Five bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms. 4,500 total Image Builder's craftsman-style home at 5331 Mule Deer Court has a welcoming front, with cedar shake on the gables, paired with darkly stained mahogany pillars accented with stone. These stone accented pillars are repeated in the inside of the home in the entry.

4 Ten-foot ceilings in the home's great room step up to 12 feet, and have exposed solid wood beams accented with metal brackets. A fireplace adds to the room's cozy, yet elegant appeal. Transom windows framed in richly stained wood are used in the doorways. The kitchen, which is adjacent to the great room, has a large island with eat-at bar. The back patio is accessed from the kitchen and breakfast area. The master bedroom features a richly faux painted ceiling and is complemented with lighter faux painted walls. The master bathroom has a double alder vanity with center cabinet, and vanity lights cut into the mirror. The bathroom has a large jetted tub with tub deck that acts as a perch for the shower, which features dual heads. Charming patio home has comfortable layout Image Builders Ridge Stone Dr. N. One of the StoneGate luxury patio homes in Ironwood, this Parade home is located to the right after entering Ironwood Estates. Ridge Stone Drive N. is a circle drive within this gated community. Two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. 2,688 total Image Builders' Fall Parade house is a luxury patio home located at 6338 Ridge Stone Dr. in the StoneGate Subdivision east of the main entrance into Ironwood Estates. This patio homes resembles a cozy bungalow, with a welcoming porch trimmed with red and white. The entry unfolds a bright front living room with recessed ceiling. A fireplace, complete with painted wood mantle and ledgestone seat, is framed with two small windows. Transom windows on either side of the front door allow further light into the room. The floor plan is open, flowing nicely from entrance to kitchen and

Large family home has a refined rustic appeal Kenmark Construction Night Hawk Rd. The home is located in Lone Eagle Estates. From the top of Zimmerman Trail, take Highway 3 west for 3.5 miles, then turn right on Lone Eagle. Travel up Lone Eagle for 3/4 mile, then take a right on Night Hawk Road. Five bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms. 5,451 total Gazette Special Sections Writer Kenmark Construction is featuring a comfortable and welcoming family home at 4275 Night Hawk Road, for the Fall Parade. The home is situated in the Lone Eagle Estates, a subdivision that boasts seemingly endless views in a country setting. The focus is on the layout, creating a smoothly flowing home that's just right. The kitchen has cherry wood cabinetry and a creamy granite countertop, a two-trough deep stainless steel sink and a large pantry. The home's formal dining room has rich character with hand-textured walls painted in a warm, golden tone. There is a richness to the home, especially in the master suite. The master bedroom has faux painted walls, and the ceiling has exposed faux beams. Access to the back patio is located in the master bedroom. The master bathroom has marble floors and countertops, a tiled steam shower with body sprays enclosed with glass surround and free-

6 standing claw foot tub. Cherry wood cabinetry houses round vessel sinks. Additional storage is found in a cherry cabinet hutch in the bathroom entry. Farmhouse cottage mixes modern and vintage McCall Homes Front St. From Mullowney Lane, turn east on Elysian Road, which winds into the Josephine Crossing subdivision and becomes Front Street. Six bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms 4,885 total Homes in the Josephine Crossing are charming and full of character. Rows of colorful bungalows with front porches enclosed in white picket fences sit tall in this relatively new subdivision. One of two McCall homes Parade houses is located at 1615 Front St., and is the residence of two of the McCall Homes owners, Erin and Greg McCall. The kitchen has old-world charm with a bridge faucet, farmhouse sink and pulley lights. Modern accents include rectangular glass tiles in varying shades of green for the backsplash and a stainless steel hood on cables. Cabinetry is black distressed with granite countertops. Erin describes her home as "hip modern vintage," because of the eclectic mix of farmhouse and cottage style, as seen in the formal dining area. The dining room leads back to double French doors that open to the enclosed three-seasons porch. The master suite is west-facing, so it's bright and sunny, with a lofted ceiling. It features a walk-in two-story closet with library ladder and sitting area by the window. The master bathroom has a large steam shower with body sprays, tiled with blue glass tile accents, enclosed by glass doors. The freestanding tub is a modern version of the claw-foot tub and has a

7 hand-held sprayer. A private toilet nook has a swinging saloonstyle door. A small private deck above the patio is located off the master suite. Charming farmhouse has industrial look McCall Homes Front St. From Mullowney Lane, turn east on Elysian Road, which winds into the Josephine Crossing subdivision and becomes Front Street. Or, if you're at McCall's other Parade home, head next door. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Approximately 1,886 finished square feet Brad and Kelsey McCall's home, at 1621 Front St. in the Josephine Crossing subdivision, is a modern farmhouse with an industrial feel. The home is a towering two-story structure, and is accented on the top with corrugated metal, on the bottom with real stone. The home has a soothing atmosphere with light pastel blues, rich wide plank walnut wood floors and open floor plan. Characteristic of older homes, the trim and windows are painted, accented with stained fir wood doors. The main living room unfolds to the left of the entry. It features a fireplace with floor-to-ceiling chimney surround, glulam beam mantle and built-in bookshelves. The area keeps with the industrial theme with exposed structural steel I-beams, cable lighting, wire conduit and wood floor joists in the ceiling. The exposed tongue and groove decking in the ceiling is the sub-floor for the upstairs. The open kitchen on the east side of the home backs the living room. Cabinets are painted "Slow Green," with long stainless steel pulls paired with quartz countertops in a dark black color highlighted with tiny flecks of silver. The backsplash is composed of subway tile with glass tiles inlay. The bar has a tiled stationary box on hinges with a wood top that flips open to reveal a television on motorized lift system.

8 The master bedroom is located over the garage, and to maximize space, the bedroom is accessed through the bathroom. The master bathroom is a lavish-feeling retreat. The shower is enclosed in thick seamless glass, has a rain shower head and body sprays, and is tiled with a glass/brick-laid combination. A skylight above the vanity lets in additional light. Other amenities include a vanity area and private toilet room. The master bedroom has a sliding barn door for privacy, and the bed sits in the center of the room against a dividing wall. Behind the wall is a walk-through closet. A sitting area is located on the south wall with a reading daybed. Expansive home has character and charm Sheridan Builders Rocky Mountain Blvd. Take Rimrock Road to 54th Street West and take a right. Head north for two blocks to the first right hand turn, which is Rocky Mountain Boulevard. The home is two blocks to the east. Five bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms. 6,673 total Sheridan Builder's expansive Parade home is located at 5228 Rocky Mountain Blvd. in the Yellowstone Ridge subdivision on Billings' West End. This craftsman-style Fall Parade house is packed with high-end amenities. Starting outdoors, the home sits on a half acre lot, has an upper deck, two lower patios and a water feature in the backyard, and has two front doors. The master bathroom amenities include a private toilet nook with darkly-stained chair-rail on the bottom, and the same gold faux treatment on the upper walls, walk-in tiled shower with dual heads and body sprays, jetted Jacuzzi tub with large picture window, twin vanities with mission-style cherry cabinetry and granite countertops. The master suite is located to the right of the entry and takes up the

The gathering room off the home's main front entrance features a hand-scraped wood floor, wood crown molding on ceiling, and has a two-sided fireplace, located on the south wall, with stone surround, accented with a recessed wood panel adorned with artwork. The open kitchen on the east side of the home boasts 10-foot ceilings with a vaulted dormer to allow more light into the room. The kitchen features cherry wood cabinets in a chestnut stain, granite countertops, a pantry and deck access off the breakfast nook. The kitchen island is black distressed in an antique finish.
