After attending the Met de Penninghen workshop in 1999, Anne Grimaldi decided to turn her attention to interior design, luxury furniture design and manufacture. Her philosophy is to engender within those that experience a piece of her furniture, or a place she has designed, a new vision of furniture that places the emphasis on individual interpretations. «The forms suggest; you interpret» A.G. She offers a revolutionary vision of furniture by creating a unique way of associating shape with function, allowing for a more flexible interpretation of items. By changing proportions and dimensions of certain elements of a given piece, its functionality expands. A table is no longer just a table, but can be transformed, and substituted for a seat or a desk. Her major influences are the modern movement and theoretical reflections of urban concentration problems, as well as organic architecture. We uphold, with certification, to the most rigid and esteemed construction criteria (CEN. ISO). Products are mainly made from wood and precious metals, as well as marble and slate. The highquality production includes individual inspection by production agents, and the upholstery is finished to immaculate standards. Furthermore, each piece adheres to traditional artisan methods, which support longevity. We have access to more than two hundred species of trees, ten different types of slate, and thirteen types of marble. 7 sustainable development We re committed to optimising our solutions, concerning not only systems and processes, but also infrastructure for the development, and the production of the purchase of goods. Our criteria lead to a comprehensive and thorough approach that supports the environment by taking into account the different stages of a product s life cycle (manufacture, use, end of life) while ensuring the utmost product quality (fitness for purpose and sustainability).
