1 April 2015 [Information from Maruni Wood Industry / Maruni Collection 2015 Exhibition] Maruni Collection New Product Information The Maruni Collection was introduced in 2008 together with Naoto Fukasawa. From that time onwards, Maruni and designers have worked diligently, and gradually increased the items. Since its inception, Maruni has focused solely on wood and has created wooden furniture, but for the first time, a new material, steel, has been introduced to the collection. Malta steel leg designed by Naoto Fukasawa forms slender legs and creates a dining table with rather sharp image. It provides enjoyable contrast with the pure wood tabletop which grows richer as time passes. Don t forget simple yet strong presence of Botan Bench Basic. Designed by Jasper Morrison, this backless bench just naturally blends in literally to any space. We are sure you will enjoy new line up. 2 < Malta (Steel leg) Concept / Naoto Fukasawa > We received many requests for a large-sized table with a pure solid tabletop. Being over three meters in length, the tabletop required steel beams so that it would not become warped. In addition to the black beams, the table has steel legs with a diameter of 48.6 mm. The contrast of the pure wood and black steel highlights the attractiveness of the sleek and solid tabletop. The same locations are never repeated for the attachment of the tabletop, and different colors and patterns are skillfully assembled so that no two tables are alike. You can select a table size to match your needs. We hope you thoroughly enjoy the rich unadorned feeling of the materials used.

This backless bench, which can be approached from either side, features a basic design that does not block lines of sight.
