5 Realising Dreams Diesel Jeans Land Rover Defender By using nearly 30 pairs of the iconic jeans, together with vintage-look Napa leather to complement the bodywork, Ruskin s team has translated a client s vision to produce a truly unique vehicle. Every component of the re-upholstery was hand-made at Ruskin Design s workshop to create a bespoke interior incorporating Diesel jeans, which were donated by Diesel London after hearing about the project. Working closely with the client, Ruskin s design team ensured that neither the utilitarian nature of the truck or the essence of the iconic Diesel brand is compromised. The team s creativity was clear from the onset and the passionate response to my ideas really encouraging. Ruskin has turned my vision into a stunning reality and I am absolutely delighted with it. 6 Revitalising a Legend Bumblebee Chevy Camero When the original Transformers movie was created, four of each of the transformer character vehicles were made for filming and a further two for publicity. This Bumblebee was one of the publicity vehicles, made as a perfect replica of the film versions. Arriving in a very tired state, the owner had sourced new seats and other parts from the USA and asked the team at Ruskin to return Bumblebee to his former glory. Following the style and design of the film, the team re created a car ahead of its time in design, a real showstopper, as loud and bright, as it is iconic. Bumblebee is now used as a charity fund raising vehicle, visiting children s hospitals, charity events and travelling the length and breadth of the country delighting fans.

7 Traditional Icon Black & Brown Land Rover Defender The owner of this Defender was looking to create a hardwearing vehicle for a busy family whilst designing an interior reminiscent of smoking jackets and Chesterfield Wingback chairs. By merging standard auto grain and luxurious Napa feel leather in an accented colour scheme as the design strategy; the effect of sports car combined with country house library has been created. A hardwearing utility vehicle with seats strong enough to withstand the kids and the dogs whilst sitting in utter, unabashed luxury is the end result.
