Our reputation precedes us and we have an unparalleled list of heritage buildings in our portfolio, from Buckingham Palace to the SS Great Britain, the Café Royal to The National Gallery, Osborne House and Kensington Palace. Our experienced craftsmen will work with your design teams to take squeezes of existing mouldings on site or, using inspiration from our collection of 11,000 moulds, aid in the design of new compositions. We then manufacture and install to complete a beautiful and authentic heritage project. 5 Composition Café Royal, Regent Street, Donald Insall Associates, Mace Composition enriched fireplace George Jackson used composition in 1780 as a means of producing enrichments without using wood carvings. This compo putty cures to a very hard finish and is used as an embellishment to fireplaces, decorative panels, dado rails, picture frames and all other joinery and architectural features. Today, we are the only company that carries out large scale work of this handcrafted product and we retain a collection of over 11,000 reverse-cut hardwood moulds, one of the largest in the world, offering a very extensive range of designs from which to select. This library of enrichments allows unlimited design possibilities and can be viewed either at our premises or by visiting our on-line database.

6 GRG Portland House, Ireland, Carmody Groarke Liverpool John Lennon Airport Glass Reinforced Gypsum (GRG) is the modern method of producing bespoke plaster ceilings and features. The dense nature of GRG and the tensile strength of the fibres allow the production of thin, lightweight sections which are visually attractive and give us the ability to produce perfect curves with flush finishes. Moulds are made by hand in our factory and the GRG is cast from these to give perfectly smooth and defined features. Specialist craftsmen are then used on site to fix the casts together and create a seamless ceiling. George Jackson Limited offers a full design, manufacture and installation service to produce GRG for bespoke feature ceilings, column casings and a range of other plaster details used for interior decoration.
