2 Our main goal since 1990 has been to make life easier to all those decor lovers, specially parents, by offering them trendy and practical children s decor. We aim to ensure cozy and practical atmospheres for the little ones with machine-washable rugs and accessories that keep them safe and comfortable. Lorena Canals, mother and designer, experiences the creative process from its very beginning by gathering information and understanding modern lifestyle needs and thinking about new ideas to offer practical decor solutions. After turning her ideas into a draft design, she starts working with the best artisans to bring those ideas to live. Once the product is finished, our team, made of expert moms and artisans, take care of the last details to make sure it s not only a handmade item, but also a kid-proof handmade product. 3 SAKÛLA PROJECT When I m in India working on new collections, I always find some time to visit our nursery, see what we have built thanks to everyone who trusts Lorena Canals, and surround myself of all those kids who are so special to us. It was there, during one of my visits, where I found the inspiration for such a fascinating collection. Lorena Canals about Back to School Collection It is a great responsibility to take action to make the world a better place, and in our case help these kids in India to go to school everyday, ensuring they get the education and food they deserve.
