Ordering your Blinds from Origin has never easier, and this guide has been designed to walk you through the ordering process. If you would prefer your blinds to be installed on the outside of the recess, measure the recess from point to point and add approximately 50mm on each end to ensure the blinds overlap the windows or doors to avoid any light strike. On Doors, your serial number can be located on the outer frame. On Windows, this will be found on the base of the frame. Measure the width at the top, middle and bottom and use the smallest measurement. Measure the height at the left, middle and right, then use the smallest measurement. If you don t have this information to hand, or are not fitting the blinds to Origin Doors or Windows, you will need to measure the overall width and height of where you want the blinds to go. We recommend taking three measurements for both height and width, and using the smallest measurement.

For example, if you have a 3 door set of bi-folds or 3 windows connected to one another, most people will opt to have one panel per door or window. Alternatively, you can have one blind panel going across them although restrictions may apply on this. Please note, however, that the maximum width per panel is different for each fabric range. If you want the option of operating each blind panel individually, more motors will be required, so please contact us for more information.
