A political document adopted during the Dutch presidency of the Council at the informal ministerial meeting on urban development on the 30th May 2016 in Amsterdam Developed in close cooperation between member states, the Commission, CoR, EP, EIB, EESC, CEMR, URBACT, ESPON, EUKN, EFAP Describes the basic principles of the Urban Agenda for the EU as a new working method in the informal cooperation in the field of urban development The content framework is built from the documents like the Leipzig Charter, the Toledo Declaration and the Riga Declaration
