2 2 SenScape Luminaires Introducing SenScape Kenall s new SenScape low profile luminaire has a unique uplight component that sets it apart from the competition, providing the best combination of uplight and efficiency available. While standard edge-lit fixtures deliver a low-profile engine, they do so at the cost of efficiency. Due to the multidirectional path the reflective light must travel before it exits the luminaire, edge lighting is inherently less efficient. Edge lit fixtures also lose efficiency via thermals mounted on the sides of the light engine rather than above it. By contrast, SenScape utilizes uplight which travels a more direct path as it exits the luminaire, achieving a sleek, low profile aesthetic without compromising fixture efficiency.
