This event was organized from Thursday June 23 to Saturday June 25 at "Le Poudrier", a very nice place close to Limoges. Fifty students were expected to participate and fifty-two were finally registered.

3 2. The Electroceramics XV meeting The meeting was organized from Monday 2016 June 27 to Wednesday 2016 june 27 in Limoges. The place of the congress was the "Centre Européen de la Céramique", located in Ester park, Avenue Atlantis. The organizers The meeting was organized under the auspices of the French Ceramic Society "Groupe Français de la Céramique". I want to warmly thank the GFC and particularly Anne Leriche, which was President of the French Ceramic Society at the beginning of this project, for her precious help and councils all along the organization of this meeting. We were also supported by two scientific societies: - The European Ceramic Society which endorsed this meeting and, by the JECS trust, whic also organized a summer school on electroceramics just before the meeting with 50 participants and 13 lecturers. Thus this event was already a success. - The American Ceramic Society also endorsed this meeting and awarded funding applicants for members travels and especially students (meeting and summer school). At the local level, the organizer was the Science of Processing and Surface Treatments" laboratory (SPCTS UMR 7315 CNRS University of Limoges). Our lab have locally developed a joint laboratory, the Σ-LIM LabEx, with and XLIM (UMR 7252 CNRS University of Limoges), the research institute on design, modeling and fabrication of electronic, high-frequency, optic and photonic devices and systems. Thus the local committee was enlarged to two members of the XLIM institute. At national level, the committee includes two French members of the International Committee and two people representing the French Ceramic Society "Groupe Français de la Céramique". I want to warmly thank all my colleagues from the Organizing Committee. Without their help, the organization of this event would not have been possible. As said by the proverb: "you go faster by yourself, but you go further with others". This is particularly thru for the organization of an international meeting Local Organizing Committee: - P. 4 The Local supports We also benefited from the help of the local institutions: - Of course the University of Limoges which furnished us an important assistance in term of logistical assistance. I also want to thanks warmly: - The "Pole Européen de la Céramique" which helped us to organize the visits of our local companies. - The Limoges National School of Engineering ENSIL and the National School of Industrial Ceramics ENSCI for their financial and logistical assistance. At the local and regional level, we were also highly supported by: - The municipality of Limoges, which organized the welcome cocktail and will welcome all the participants at the town hall on Monday june The urban community of Limoges, "Limoges Metropole" which supported us by graciously making available the Ester building and it's support team, - The region Aquitaine Limousin Poitou Charente which supported us financially for the accommodation and subsistence of conference delegates.

5 The Meeting During the selection of abstracts, our main objective was to highlight the work of young scientist by our choice of presentations. We also retained 25 keynotes lectures. Some of them were chosen as invited lectures before submission of abstracts and the other ones were selected because of the quality of their abstract. The result was 131 oral presentations, including 3 plenary lectures and 25 keynotes lectures, 60 posters. Plenary lectures
