11 Project Elements The RRR Project Consists of: Repaving and Restriping the Roadway Replacing Substandard Curb Ramps at Intersections Upgrading Pedestrian Signals Upgrading Pavement Markings Proposed by Complete Streets Concept Enhancing Landscaping Installing Medians Picture of pedestrian crosswalk at study area intersection Florida Department of Transportation 11

12 Complete Streets Complete Streets concepts (i.e., landscaping and pedestrian related treatments) were included in the RRR for several reasons: Request initiated from the Mayor s Office of North Miami Improvements align with the community s vision for the corridor Provides neighborhood feeling Feedback from your Elected Officials Florida Department of Transportation 12
