5 Tram Depot ALMATY TRAM SYSTEM - historical and cultural value for the city and its citizens December 1 - the first ride of historical Almaty tram. In 15 days the first tram line transported more than 300 thousand passengers Volumes began to decline and on many streets tram lines were gradually dismantled. Only 2 tram lines were operating for the whole city connecting east-west and south-north Almaty Tram Cafe - the city s new identity After several accidents involving old trams the city administration decided to stop their work. Currently, a new project of Almaty LRT with its own depot is being considered. Meanwhile, the old depot has been closed.

10 Top 3 Projects depo multifunctional city park 1. Create a model of sustainable and healthy society on the symbiosis of modern technology and human interaction. 2. The introduction of Eco technologies and alternative energy in the park (autonomous power supply, recycling of waste into biogas, etc.) 3. Promotion of a healthy lifestyle (HLS) 4. The socialization of the participants and guests of the organization of the park DEPO, through joint activities, games, and leisure. 5. Raise the cultural level of the citizens. Museum and park complex of public transport 1. The preservation of historical heritage tram Almaty as part of the cultural heritage of the city and through the lens of public transport vehicles (vehicles, aviation, water transport, etc.) and technological advances. 2. The creation of a creative space for dedicated equipment of children and youth who are interested in transport and communications. 3. The creation of organized space for temporary exhibitions. 4.
