2 SOLOMONS ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN MANUAL The purpose is to protect the continuity and architectural heritage of Solomons in a way that reinforces the existing fabric of the town. Incorporate new with old. Preserve Solomons maritime history. Provide settings for community interaction.
3 The Solomons Town Center Master Plan, Zoning Ordinance, and Design Manual are structured to be consistent with one another. DRAFT

5 ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE Since 1988, the Committee has reviewed over 1,080 applications. 5 MEMBER COMMITTEE Three of the five positions are specified in the Solomons Zoning Ordinance: An owner of a business located within the Town Center A resident who is not connected with a business within the Town Center A member with experience in architecture, landscape architecture, historic preservation, urban design, planning engineering, orrelated fields
