(Dec.1991 to Feb. 1992) A full technical and feasibility study for manufacturing Jordan Petroleum Company semi-trailer tankers locally in Jordan, the study included an original design for such tankers. (Sept.1988-Dec. 1991) The following Research Projects had been conducted: 1) Planned and designed the installation of Nd-Yag and Dye laser systems for the purpose of combustion temperature and species diagnostics. 3 2) Designed an optical system for AVL 520 single cylinder diesel engine to measure the temperature using the techniques of (CARS). 3) Developed a computer model to solve the radiative transfer equation using the Spherical Harmonic Approximation. 4) Evaluated and classified the applications of ceramics in reciprocating internal combustion engines. 5) Developed a theory for the flow of wormlike macromolecule suspensions, and developed a computer model to solve special cases of the theory.
