1 Connecting the DOTs: Nationwide Trends in the Inventory, Evaluation, and Management of Historic Roads In Mead & Hunt, Inc. surveyed state Departments of Transportation (DOTs) on how they address historic roads. Out of this survey, an annotated bibliography was compiled of national and state-specific resources on identifying, evaluating, and preserving historic roads across the United States.
