1 WESTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY Quad Cities Riverfront Campus Preliminary Master Plan Presentation 2 February 1, 2006

2 Achieving Future Flexibility 1. Monitor space needs as the new buildings come on line and assess our future space needs accordingly. 2. If our projected capacity figures are too high simply build fewer buildings. 3. If after building the first three (3) buildings greater capacity is required we construct the buildings proposed for the remaining?? sites at a greater density: taller buildings ranging in height from 2 to 6 stories. Our capacity target new becomes?????????? gsf. By working cooperatively with the city we hope to provide these spaces south of the railroad tracks.
