Full-fee scholarships are available for the Diploma of Landscape Design, call us on to find out how to apply. 2 QUALIFICATIONS IN THEE YEAS + Bachelor of Landscape Design (1.5 years) + Diploma of Landscape Design (1.5 years) CONSEVATION AND LAND MANAGEMENT Apply to Macquarie University directly when you graduate with a Diploma of Conservation and Land Management or an Advanced Diploma of Applied Environmental Management (with a credit average or higher). You ll have credit points towards these degrees: + Bachelor of Science majoring in Environmental Management + Bachelor of Environment + Bachelor of Arts majoring in Environmental Management BACHELO OF EDUCATION LANDSCAPE DESIGN Join us in 2017 for an exciting and purposeful Degree program. Study the Bachelor of Education Landscape Design, delivered by the University of Canberra, on the stunning grounds of yde School of Horticulture and be ambitious. POJECTS and assessments will showcase your ability to research and create significant contributions to improving our communities, through the development of urban, peri-urban and non-urban landscapes. BE IMMESED in the complex issues of managing and developing landscapes from specific purpose site designs through urban parks to regional settings. 4 APPENTICESHIP & TAINEESHIPS WHAT IS AN APPENTICE? Apprenticeships combine paid work and structured training to help you become a qualified landscape tradesperson, grounds person or gardener. WHAT IS A TAINEESHIP? Traineeships combine paid work and formal training and are available across a wide range of vocations. Traineeships at the yde School of Horticulture include Sports Turf Management, Horticulture as well as Land and Conservation Management. ECOGNITION OF PIO LEANING Do you have experience in a specific trade area? You might be able to accelerate your apprenticeship at a pace that is right for you and your employer. Both can be completed part-time or fulltime, depending on your arrangement with your employer. MY STYLE I look for plants that align with the personality of my client, the architecture of their home and that also enhance the atmosphere the surrounding neighbourhood where possible. MY AMBITION I now have my own business that designs residential gardens and I also consult for landscape architects and give them as much in depth plant and soil knowledge as possible.
