How Can you Participate Tonight? There are three stations that each have the concept plans for you to review and comment on. Feel free to write directly on the maps There is also a worksheet and comment card for you to fill out and offer any comments that you want to share with the Planning Commission and City Council

Very Important Points to Remember: These sketches are VERY preliminary. They are subject to significant change based on many factors, including development costs and economic feasibility You are being invited to participate in the design process, not comment on a proposed plan We are not at that point yet

Points to Remember (cont.) The City is considering an amendment to its Comprehensive Plan not reviewing a development application. There are many steps between now and then When a property owner subdivides their land the City can require that a portion of the land be dedicated for park. The amount of land that the City can acquire is based on a formula in its ordinance. That park dedication ordinance formula is based on the types and number of housing units. If the City chooses to plan for more park any additional land would need to be paid for through other sources

QUESTIONS/DISCUSSION?

City of Oakdale, 3M Foundation Property Special Area Study April 27 Community Open House Worksheet 1. 40 Please use this side of the worksheet to offer any additional comments you want to share with the staff and City Council
