3 1. Technical charakteristics 1.1. Function and uses The energy recovery unit Futura is a device designed for controlled ventilation and interior adjustment of living space. Provides return heat and humidity, filters incoming air, helps maintain optimal humidity and integrates fully automatic bypass in summer (night mode)-help in cooling. The unit is equipped with an enthalpy heat exchanger for the use of latent heat from moisture. Place the unit Unit body Exchanger Filtration Connecting piping Anti-freeze protection Electrical connection Control Spring function Optional accessories The energy recovery unit is installed vertically on the wall, in a room with a guaranteed min. temperature +10 C. Adequate handling space for trouble-free access, maintenance and service must be available in front of the device for the duration of its operation. The internal construction of the energy recovery unit is made of monolithic EPP (expanded polypropylene) without thermal bridges. Enthalpy counterflow with humidity return control. Two filters are located in the energy recovery unit, the filter F7 is provided on both sides the intake and exhaust air. The need to replace the filters is indicated automatically and depends on the air quality in the environment where the device is used (approximately 1 every 2 6 months). Filtration can be supplemented with an optional carbon filter which is inserted directly into the unit under the intake air filter. The device is equipped with 4 EPP flanges 150 mm. At the inlet and outlet of air to/from the outside, it is necessary to use EPP piping to prevent the possibility of undesirable condensation inside the inlet and outlet pipes. The operating temperature range without need of preheating is from -19 C to + 45 C. No additional anti-freeze protection is required when this temperature range is maintained. Power supply 230 V/50 Hz, 6 A. The energy recovery unit requires a 3 2,5 mm 2 with double socket and peripheral cables (LAN, sensors, intensive pull buttons). Supplied with connecting cable. Integration with MyJABLOTRON, which allows easy control of all user functions and settings, remote monitoring, management and automatic notification of filter change and error states. Supplied as standard with a wall mounted controller with integrated CO 2 sensor (1 pc). Fully automatic 100 % by-pass controlled depending on the set preferred temperature. Installation requirements 3.1. For the inlet and outflow of air to/from the interior, it is necessary to install silencers of approx. 1.5 m according to the manufacturer s specifications and recommendations. Note. In the rooms where the exhaust is located the toilet, the bathroom etc., it is necessary to leave the gap under the door 10 mm. 4
7 3.2. Connection of condensate drain In the exchanger, the exhaust air is cooled by the supply air, thereby condensing moisture. The resulting condensed water is drained to the siphon. The condensate drain is located at the bottom of the energy recovery unit. The drainage connection of the condensate drain hose HT 32 mm waste pipe requires a siphon to be connected to the sewer system. Wiring Prepare the socket secured by a 10D solo circuit breaker. Controllers and CO 2 sensors Zone ventilation flaps inlet Zone ventilation flaps exhaust Recommended peripheral connections topology on the RS-485 bus This RS-485 bus is only intended for connections to the peripherals of the Futura energy recovery unit. The bus is four-wire, with 24 V supply and a maximum total current of 500 ma. The power supply is overloaded or short-circuit resistant. Recommended cable Four wired cabel with twisted paars, e.g. Unitronic PAAR LiYCY 2 2 0,34 0,5 mm 2 or J-Y(St)Y 2 2 0,8 mm. The UTP or STP cable can be used. The cable must not be led parallel to low or high voltage power lines. Intermittent crossing does not matter. RS-485 Bus Terminating Resistors Terminating resistor 120R is connected in the energy recovery unit. It is recommended to connect the terminating resistor (using the DIP switch) on the farthest controller or sensor. For a more comfortable wiring connection to the Futura energy recovery unit the RS-485 bus splitter Jablotron JA-110Z-B and the JA-190PL box can be used.
