Waterwalls are almost a necessity in today s Courtyards and Alfresco areas with the emphasis on the outdoor room, and become the focal point providing atmosphere and life.

Sheet Descent: this is the wall washing type, which flows vertically down the face of the wall.

The shimmering flow of water is accentuated by the addition of lighting at night. Installations of up to 3 m high are possible with care in design and construction.

There are two main types to choose from, ensure you specify the correct type as warranty does not cover removal and replacement costs. Sheet Descent: this is the wall washing type, which flows vertically down the face of the wall. They are suitable for use on walls faced with a variety of substrates and bring subtle noise and movement into the garden. The shimmering flow of water is accentuated by the addition of lighting at night. Installations of up to 3 m high are possible with care in design and construction. Projecting: The curtain of water projects out from the wall in an arc, re-entering the pond below approximately 200 mm away from the wall or only a 100 mm when the Combo unit is used. A more impressive display which stimulates the senses, further enrichment is gained by the use of lighting at night. As they are noisier than a sheet descent, neighbors need to be considered in any installation. The pump and catchment pond need to be larger than what is required for a sheet descent. Pressurized These are normally used as projecting units but can be used as wall washers also. They use substantially more water when projecting and need very clean or filtered water. There are also restrictions on what height projecting waterfalls are installed at: typically 1 m to 1.2 m high for the S/S Projecting and Aquablade versions and only 0.7 m high for the Combo units below. Over this height, the curtain of water starts to break up into droplets. Consideration must be given also to the effect of wind, which will move the water curtain around and may cause water loss, depending on the construction.

5 Tornado S/S S/Steel Combination Waterwalls New Improved Design Improved Flow LED Lights can be fitted afterwards and easily replaced These economy waterfalls may be used for either sheet descent (wall washing) or projecting effects. When used as a projecting waterfall, they should not be installed above 700 mm high. The projection from the wall is only approximately 100 mm. This must be considered in the design and construction. Water flow requirements for wall washing applications are very dependent on surface type and texture. We strongly recommend selecting pumps to exceed the minimum figures supplied and using in-line valve(s) to adjust and throttle the flow to suit the installation. Note that customised specifications are not available with these Combo units, as they are imported. New Design -316 Stainless Steel for use with Salt Water LED Lights can be fitted afterwards and easily replaced This is a stainless steel water wall in 316 stainless, that can be used in all on all applications, including a salt water chlorinated pools, in either wall wash or projection up to 1000mm high. It is basically a 316 version of our existing Combo Stainless steel waterwall,, but is available in bottom entry only. However the real exciting difference is the LED lighting system that is available with these units. This is a full RGB LED strip mounted above the water wall and is programmable to - colour change, single colour or different colours and control by infrared remote. Not only can you have a colour your choice (red, green, blue or white or a mix of these) at you can change from these colors in slow motion or in a disco effect. If used as a free-fall waterfall, the sheet of water will be very affected by wind, and tends to break up at heights over 0.8 m. It is essential that the trough be installed perfectly level and a galvanised lintel must be installed to bear the load of any block or brickwork above. Water flow requirements for wall washing applications are very dependent on surface type and texture. We strongly recommend selecting pumps to exceed the minimum figures supplied and using in-line valve(s) to adjust and throttle the flow to suit the installation.
