3 Life-enhancing heat ELBA DUAL ELBA DUAL is an innovative range of floor-standing boilers, designed and manufactured by Fondital. Having thermal outputs ranging from 24 to 73 kw, ELBA DUAL can be equipped with oil-or gas-fired blown burners. The heat exchanger with three flue gas passes is made of cast-iron (EN-GJL-200). The combustion chamber is engineered for the flame to fully develop and reach a wide exchange area, which absorbs high heat while keeping the superficial thermal load on its walls low. The three flue gas passes, the high efficiency combustion chamber with wet bottom, and the flue gas passes profiles, which optimize the heat exchange, allow ELBA DUAL to be classified among high-efficiency heat generators. The heat exchanger is fully insulated by a high-thickness, glass-wool layer, avoiding cost-affecting heat losses. The casing is manufactured with electro-zinc plated metal sheet, finished by epoxy-polyester powder paint for longer lasting life time. The control panel includes CH temperature selector (49 C/82 C range), thermometer, power on switch with light, manual reset safety thermostat, and lights indicating pump and burner operation and overheating shutdown. Behind the control panel door, space is provided for installation of optional equipment such as a thermoregulation control unit or a programmable timer. Efficiency rating according to 92/42/CEE: A dedicated interface printed circuit board allows all models to be coupled with free-standing water heaters. Fondital also designs and manufactures a 120 liter, stainless steel, free-standing water tank (model WHPF BO) which can withstand the weight of Elba Dual 23, 33, and 43 models.
