1 Wall-hung condensing VICTRIX ZEUS Superior kw I is the new range of wall-hung condensing boilers with 54 litre stainless steel storage tank available in two versions with nominal heat output of 26 kw and 32 kw. The production of hot water makes use of the initial storage tank and continuous service, making maximum boiler output available for the DHW. The VICTRIX ZEUS Superior kw I boiler is an optimum solution in all those installations that envision the simultaneous use of several services. Thanks to condensation technology, it is characterised for its high efficiency and guarantees extremely low pollutant emissions (the boiler belongs to the most environment-friendly class envisioned by European Standards - class 5). VICTRIX ZEUS Superior kw I distinguishes itself due to the possibility of coupling to the exclusive Super CAR and tot he external probe (both optional) that allow to mange, control and program the boiler at a distance with extreme simplicity, optimising functioning by means of climatic heat adjustment. The boilers are in fact also type-approved for installation outdoors (with the aid of a relevant top cover kit) in a partially protected place (anti-freeze protection to -5 C, with optional kit -15 C). 1 VICTRIX ZEUS Superior kw I features Pre-mixed wall-hung condensing boiler for central heating and the production of DHW, with sealed chamber and fan-assisted with nominal heat output of 23.9 kw (20,554 kcal/h) in CH mode (25.8 kw in DHW mode) and 32 kw (27,520 kcal/h) with high efficiency and fan-assisted circulation. By varying the type of installation the classification of the boiler also varies. OUTDOOR INSTALLATION (in partially protected place): Appliance with direct air intake - if installed using a flue terminal and the (optional) mandatory top cover kit, also eliminating a sealed chamber intake cap. Appliance type C 13 / C 33 / C 83 - if installed using the vertical or horizontal concentric kits (cover kit recommended but not mandatory) or the Ø 80/80 separator kit without using the top cover kit. INDOOR INSTALLATION: Appliance type C 13 / C 33 / C 43 / C 53 / C 83 - if installed using the vertical or horizontal concentric kits or the Ø 80/80 separator kit. Appliance type B 23 - if installed using a flue kit and the (optional) mandatory top cover kit, also eliminating a sealed chamber intake caps. The boiler is made up of: total pre-mixing combustion system with steel multigas burner, complete with ignition electrodes and ionisation control; pneumatic gas valve with double shutter; stainless steel primary gas/water exchanger coil; combustion chamber in stainless steel internally isolated using ceramic panels; fan for flue evacuation with electronically variable speed; circuit for disposal of condensate including trap and flexible discharge pipe; 54 litre stainless steel storage tank, flanged and insulated using selfextinguishing polystyrene. It is complete with stainless steel water-water heat exchanger wound with removable concentric double coil; equipped with draining valve. DHW circuit expansion vessel 2 litre expansion vessel with 3.5 bar factory set pressure; hydraulic unit composed of electric 3-way valve, 3-speed pump plus the automatic speed in variable steps on the basis of the T measured between system flow and return (factory set 15 C), air separator enclosed in the pump, adjustable by-pass, absolute pressure switch for the primary circuit, system drain fitting and ball valve for system filling. 10 litre (real 7.1) diaphragm expansion vessel with 1.0 bar factory-set pressure and manometer, primary circuit safety valve at 3 bar, storage tank safety valve at 8 bar; water overheating safety thermostat and flue overheating safety thermostat; control panel with Stand-by/On button, functioning mode button (Summer/Winter), DHW priority temporary inhibition button, Reset/exit programming menu button, programming menu entry/data confirmation button, central heating system temperature adjustment selector, domestic hot water temperature adjustment selector. microprocessor driven P.C.B. with continuous flame modulation with 2 sensors for central heating (flow and return) and 1 sensor for domestic hot water with P.I.D. control and modulation range from: - VICTRIX ZEUS 26 kw from 25.8 to 4.7 kw (from 22,188 to 4,042 kcal/h), - VICTRIX ZEUS 32 kw from 32.0 to 6.9 kw (from 27,520 to 5,934 kcal/h); CH temperature range selection C or C (setting as per series); electronic ignition with ionisation control; self-diagnostics system with digital display of the operating status and anomalies by means of a back-lit display; setting of the boiler functioning parameters using buttons and selectors with display of status and operating mode by means of a back-lit display; ignition retarder in central heating mode, anti-freeze protection system (to -5 C), circulator anti-block device function, post-ventilation function, chimney sweep function, circulator functioning mode selection; preparation for connection to Super CAR, CAR and timer thermostat, external probe and control unit for area systems; IPX5D electric insulation rating. possibility of coupling to the system for ducting of existing flues Ø 60 mm and Ø 80 mm. 4 4 PUMP HEAD FLOW RATE GRAPHICS The VICTRIX ZEUS Superior 26 kw I range of boilers are supplied with a built-in circulation pump with 3-position electric speed control plus automatic speed (factory set). The automatic speed decides the most suitable setting of the pump on the basis of T measured between system delivery and return. The circulation pump is already fitted with a capacitor. The "VICTRIX ZEUS Superior kw I" series boilers are equipped with adjustable by-pass already set in the factory (screws tightened by 1.5 turns with respect to the completely loose adjustment screws). 6 6 VICTRIX ZEUS Superior kw I wiring diagram ROOM THERMOSTAT OR REMOTE CONTROL The Comando Amico Remoto (CAR) or the Super Comando Amico Remoto remote control must be connected to clamps 42 and 43 of connector X15 on the integrated P.C.B. respecting the polarity and eliminating jumper X40. The boiler is designed to use the Room Thermostat (S20). Connect the Room Thermostat onto clamps 40 and 41 of connector X15 eliminating jumper X40. Any external probe (B4) must be connected to clamps 38 and 39 of connector X15 on the integrated P.C.B.
