1 Storage equipment and accessories To protect the groundwater and the environment, it is necessary to comply with the relevant regulations for the storage, filling and transfer of water polluting liquids and substances. We supply collection trays for the storage of these hazardous substances and for safe filling monitoring our DÜANA with awareness button and emergency cut-out actuator (ANA). Tested barrel handling products round off our range, and help to reduce risks in everyday work to a minimum. This information is available free of charge: Storage equipment and accessories 6 Page 6.1 Drum protection accessories Pump systems Drum transport and handling 261 Contents Due to the large variety of flammable and corrosive liquids in use, the equipment, containers and units are available in all kinds of different materials. However, due to the diverse properties of the substances, we are unable to give a general statement on the resistance of the individual products. We recommend the following: Ensure the media does not attack the product material - do this by checking the manufacturer or EC safety data sheet for the liquid. Delivery period Delivery period on request. Tests The products satisfy current state of the art standards, the safety requirements and the relevant regulations. Packaging Packaging, as far as required, is made from environmentally friendly and recyclable material. 8 6.2.8 Drum pump made from stainless steel for flammable liquids The drum pump is the ideal solution for filling combustible and easily flammable liquids. Parts in contact with medium are made from stainless steel and PTFE. Electro-statically conductive. 11 Safety storage containers Safety storage containers For safe and compliant storage of water polluting liquids in water pollutant class WGK 1 3, and flammable liquids, F+, F outdoors or in building in accordance with the specific fire protection regulations. The general national technical approval Z of the Deutsche Institut für Bautechnik (DIBt - German Institute for Civil Engineering) is included in the scope of supply Construction of the container Standard container: Containers are delivered ready assembled. 21 Tank extraction system with DÜANA 6.8 ANA systems for reducing the retention volume For safe removal of flammable and water polluting liquids from transport tanks. For installing on or connecting to road tanking vehicles, tank containers or railway tank wagons in order to monitor the filling process when filling water polluting liquids via hoses. 2 components for maximum flexibility: DÜANA - Type A: Stationary system with integrated solenoid valve. DÜANA - Type B: Stationary system with external solenoid valve. Cut-off flap Function: Couple the cut-off flap unit between tanker and filling hose and connect the compressed air hose with the control unit/solenoid valve. Switch on compressed air and power supply, release filling process. Acknowledge the signal recurring every 30 seconds until filling completed. Failure to acknowledge the signal, continuous pressing and pressing the emergency cut-out actuator automatically shut the cut-off flap and end the filling process. Advantages: Cost-saving, as the necessary retention volume of several thousand litres can be reduced to several hundred litres.
