3 The WASHINO wash and play trough Makes washing hands really fun! Our WASHINO wash and play troughs are available in 2 variants: for 2 users or for 4 users. Nurseries, Infant and Primary Schools The playful wave and pleasant warm surface of the MIRANIT material are a temptation for children to wash their hands. The larger outer radii of the mineral granite made basins reduce the risk of injury, while the generous inner radii and their seamless design make cleaning the washtroughs an easy task. The non-porous, high gloss hygienic surface in conjunction with a high resistance to impact and abrasion, emphasises how well these wash and play troughs are suitable for everyday use. All models are supplied with a waste and overflow as well as a tap hole for each wash place, integrated basin back panel and mounting material to make mounting easy. The GAMBA and LUNA washbasins These washing units were designed specifically with children in mind with dimensions perfect for the young ones. The washing unit width of just 45cm and shallow depth comes in 2 different designs: the GAMBA with an asymmetrical tap landing and LUNA with a moon shape moulded form. The attractive feature of the basins is that they can grow with the children. This is possible by the slotted hole design in the rear panel of the washbasin. In conjunction with flexible connection hoses and an immersion tube, height adjustments of up to 10cm are possible at any time without removing the washbasins. Manufactured from our MIRANIT mineral material without seams or joints ensures that these washbasins maintain the highest degree of stability under extreme conditions. The Department for Education suggests that an effective layout, high quality fittings and finishes, efficient cleaning and maintenance, together with good access policies, are all essential to ensure that school facilities are valued. Ask about our new CPD on using stainless steel in the commercial washroom Toilets It s recommended that toilets in a school should be wall hung to avoid dirt and germ build up around the floor junction lifting the pan off the floor allows for more effective cleaning. They are also approved on the government s Water Technology List.. The Saturn Washtrough Our wall mounted washtrough with tap deck is a popular product for schools. They have an optional rear splashback which incorporates either self-closing or electronic taps. The benefit of self-closing and electronic taps is that they offer significant water savings and therefore cost savings over manual taps. Electronic taps also come with the added benefit of an automatic shut off when actuated continuously, reducing the potential for vandalism by flooding of the toilets. Manufactured from Grade 304 stainless steel in 1.2mm, our washtroughs are durable, long lasting and particularly fit for purpose. Readily available for 2 or 3 users in 1200mm and 1800mm lengths or bespoke to suit requirements. The Circular Washtrough Where space is a constraint, our circular and semi-circular washtroughs provide an ideal solution. Suitable for up to 4 users for the semi-circular version and up to 8 users for the circular version, these washtroughs are highly durable to withstand intensive use in busy environments. Manufactured from a high grade 304 stainless steel and the best quality fittings, they offer additional benefits over the use of conventional washbasins. Quartz is one of the hardest materials and constitutes a large part of the earth s crust. The final product is highly stable in combination with the unsaturated polyester resin and it has very good forming characteristics to facilitate easy production into cast moulds. Whilst it is hi-style, it is also fractureresistant unlike ceramic products. Three different bowl shapes can be seamlessly moulded into a strikingly graceful washbasin top with a material thickness of just 25mm and up to 3.6m in length. There is almost no limit to the variation of ideas ; flexible washbasin length, a choice of bowl shapes, number of bowls and bowl spacing. The different designs with or without tap landing also provide the opportunity to include a wide range of fittings to obtain the chosen result. You can even choose from two different materials. A chlorine based water filter and installation kit are supplied as standard. fact file The Department of Education now include clear advice on the standards for school premises and state that suitable drinking water facilities must be provided. Tanked supplies can be difficult to maintain in good condition, and so it is generally preferable if drinking water supplies in schools can be connected directly to the main water supply. See our website for more details. wudu/ablution washing station It is mandated by the holy Quran that every Muslim should perform an ablution or clean one s self with clean water prior to performing salat (prayer). It is for this reason that we have developed our Wudu product specifically for this purpose. These modular washing stations are particularly well suited to schools as they are delivered ready to plumb direct to the water supply and are supplied complete with water controls and waste. Even soap s are available on request, as too are electronic water controls and bespoke lengths. Al Madinah School, Derby The new Al-Madinah School, Derby offers a strong Muslim ethos to all children aged 4-16 years and includes a distinct Islamic Studies program alongside the national curriculum.
