1 MONORA PARK PAVILION/ MONO COMMUNITY CENTRE JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES RE MONO CARETAKERS Position includes but is not limited to the following duties and is subject to change at the discretion of the Town Mats Windows Mirrors Metal Doors & outlets Steps Downstairs Coat Closet Boot Rack Plants FOYERS Damp mop Spot clean Remove dirt, finger marks & cobwebs Spot clean, as required Clean & shine. Replace bulbs, as required Damp mop Damp mop tidy hangers Rinse if required (Winter months) Dust, wipe leaves as necessary Counters Cupboards Backsplash Stoves/Ovens Freezer Fridge Dishwasher Sinks Dishes/Cutlery Doors & Door handles and push plates Tea Towels Miscellaneous KITCHENS & sanitize with bleach Wipe exterior clean, as needed Clean & shine Clean exterior surfaces Ensure oven is empty Ensure freezer is empty Clean exterior and interior surfaces Ensure fridge is empty Clean exterior and interior surfaces Call Rec Director if temperature is not correct Clean exterior. Clean drains. Ensure there is dishwashing soap Clean Shine Ensure clean Rewash if necessary Clean & shine Sweep Damp mop Ensure 5 in kitchen drawer Replenish hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, garbage bags
2 Garbage/Recycling Place garbage in dumpster, recycling in blue bins, and compost in large green bins in dumpster enclosure outside. Cardboard to be broken down. Clean containers, put back in kitchen with bag and put extra bags in base. Ensure 3 blue boxes in upper kitchen and 2 in lower kitchen Tables Chairs BANQUET ROOMS/MEETING ROOMS Corners Moldings Doors Doors Handles & push plates Counters Pictures Wall hangings Waste Cans & Recycle Bins & Outlets Plants Heating system Windows Fireplaces and return to storage, if required Shine chrome as necessary Stack 6 high facing wall Sweep/vacuum. Mop with clean mop head, if applicable. Clean corners & edges Spot clean Remove dirt, finger marks & cobwebs Visual inspection spot clean if required Ensure locked Clean & shine Spot clean, as required Empty Clean Put bag (with extra bags in bottom of can) in containers Spot clean. Replace bulbs as necessary Dust, wipe leaves as necessary /dust vents, as required Set temperature at 70 F (21 C) Dust, clean and shine glass, chrome, mantle, and hearth Meeting set ups Set ups required for some meetings Requirements will be indicated on schedule or ed to you prior to date
