Indeed, there are different ways of understanding comfort and ergonomics can be expressed in different forms. Grandimpianti I.L.E. chose to think in new directions. Firstly, it focused on ergonomics in terms of visual comfort: even in the industrial world you have the right to an aesthetically pleasing environment, thus visually comfortable, in which you work more willingly. The end result is a low residual moisture that facilitates and speeds up the subsequent drying stage. Hot air is an ever-changing element and therefore it is difficult to control. For this reason it is difficult to make the most of it. Let us add that in the past laundry dryers were generally considered the weak link in the production process, for reasons related both to technology and energy impact. Lateral thinking has allowed Grandimpianti I.L.E. to find new solutions to the complex management of drying, addressing the situation from a simple, but not trivial, point of view. Drying does not mean blowing hot air on fabric, it means to evaporate the water it contains. To evaporate the water there are many parameters which can be acted on. Apart from the temperature of the hot air, drying is influenced by thermal dispersion, fabric type, the speed at which the drum rotates, the air temperature at the exhaust and also by the level of clogging of the filter. Handling these quantities properly gives the client two advantages: optimal drying and lower power consumption. Grandimpianti I.L.E. began to respond to these needs since Now, thanks to several innovations, its dryers are a new factor in the reduction of operating costs. They feature a tub heavily insulated with ceramic material to minimise heat loss. The hot air follows a linear path and passes only through the laundry, to produce optimal thermal efficiency. The drying process is constantly monitored by an optional humidity probe. The rotation of the drum and the level of clogging of the filter are monitored and managed automatically. All these factors are coordinated by a digital control system designed in two variants: GUIDO and G-WIZ. The ironer thus has a delicate function because the quality of the ironing can be touched. Let s not forget that fabric can be of different types and dimensions. This requires additional flexibility in treatment.
