The concrete floor was poured in the 1950 s, with a drain which receives water from the 18 year-old forced air furnace. Drain and furnace are in excellent condition. The electric tank is turned off for about 1/3 of the year, and only runs briefly on occasion for another 1/3 of the year. It runs more regularly during extended grey and very cold periods of the year. The vintage Maytag washer, dryer, and the iris stained glass window between toilet and bath do not come with the house. The floor is gently warm to the feet and rises through the house, becoming cooler on the top floor. When night temps are in the 30 s the master suite stays in the mid 60 s with only this heat source.
