Bulbs. LED bulbs may may be used. -Prior to installation or removal of a previous fixture, disconnect power by turning off circuit breaker at electrical panel. WARNIN: -Deviation from assembly instructions may cause risk of fire or electric shock. -To reduce risk of personal injury, always turn off fixture and allow bulbs to cool prior to replacement. -Do not touch or look directly at illuminated bulbs. -Keep flammable material away from illuminated bulbs. 2 Remove all parts, hardware and protective packaging from carton and carefully arrange on a clean, level surface. (EXAMPLE) NOTE: To avoid accidentally discarding small parts or hardware, retain all carton contents until after assembly and installation are complete. Recommended Location for Use: Dry Indoor Environment Assembly Time: 25 Minutes People Required: 2 Tools Required: Screwdriver, Wire Strippers, Wire Cutters, Electrical Tape (Parts bag located here) PARTS Check to make sure you have the following: (Bulb picture) 3 pipes of 12 Inches 1 pipe of 6 Inches Drawings here show all included parts with the parts labeled. Drawings need to be large enough to see components. 3 STEP 1: Attach the Nipple (D) to the Mounting Bar () by screwing in the Nipple and locking it on the opposite side with the Lock Washer (H) and Nut (I). (Example) STEP 2: Be certain power is off, then secure the Mounting Bar () to Junction Box with Mounting Screws (E). Firmly tighten. STEP 3: ATTACH PIPE Attach one end of Fixture Pipe (B) to Fixture Body (C) and other end to Canopy hardware (A). (A) NOTE: Adjust the drop of fixture by adding and removing lengths of pipe. 4 STEP 4: WEAVE WIRES Weave Fixture Wire and round Wire through Pipe (B) and Canopy (A). NOTE: To prevent risk of fire or electrical shock, be certain weight of Fixture is supported by Pipe. DO NOT hang Fixture by cord. STEP 5: ATTACH ELECTRICAL Trim wires to required length to make connection. Strip ends of 1/2 insulation. Attach bare ground wire to bare ground wire in Junction Box using Wire Connector (F). Firmly attach both to green screw on Mounting Bar (). Attach the Power Supply Wires to the Fixture Wires by connection BLACK TO BLACK (or smooth) and WHITE TO WHITE (or ribbed). Secure all connections with Wire Connectors. (See Diagram Below) WHITE OR RIBBED FROM HOUSE WHITE OR RIBBED FROM FIXTURE BLACK OR SMOOTH FROM HOUSE BLACK OR SMOOTH FROM FIXTURE STEP 6: CLOSE CANOPY Slide Canopy (A) over Junction Box. 5 STEP 9: INSTALL BULBS (not included) AND RESTORE POWER. Install bulbs through bottom opening in Fixture (C). Socket rated up to 25 watt MAX Type B INCANDESCENT Candelabra Bulbs* *NOTE: If you need more brightness than a standard 25 WATT switch to a higher equivalent LED or CFL bulb, which can provide 4-5 times the illumination (lumens) without exceeding your fixture's maximum recommended wattage. Choose 2700K Warm or Soft White.
