The Problems with Old-Fashioned Toilets: The toilet rim is a design fault! Old-fashioned toilets have a rim that collects dirt and grime. This can be an ideal environment for the growth of mildew And the the rim can harbour harmful bacteria. More About Seima NanoGlaze Seima NanoGlaze is a nanometer-thin glaze that is coated on the base glaze of selected Seima sanitary ware, and baked on at 1200 C, to create an ultra-smooth self-cleaning surface. The base glaze on all Seima sanitaryware is highly smooth opacified glaze, but when this is combined with a top glaze of super-smooth, transparent and antiseptic Seima NanoGlaze it is extremely difficult for any waste to adhere to the surface, and it is easly rinsed off as there is very little surface area contact. A roughness average (Ra) is a widely used roughness parameter. According to scientific testing, the surface roughness Ra of Seima NanoGlaze is only 32nm (nanometres), while the surface roughness of ordinary glaze is 200nm. The baked-on Seima NanoGlaze performs well in resistance against abrasion, acid, alkali and heat.
