These new models are guaranteed to offer optimum performance, flexibility and high-efficiency, minus the high energy consumption. Reducing energy consumption is one of the ways we can contribute to the environment. 2 The new ECONAVI feature allows the air-conditioning unit to be intuitive and intelligent in adjusting output based on the users needs, which is made possible by sensors and control technology. ECONAVI utilizes high-precision Human Sensor and Control Program technologies to optimize air-conditioner operation according to room conditions. These technologies help detect periods when energy is normally wasted and self-adjusts the cooling capacity while maintaining uninterrupted cooling, comfort and convenience. This revolutionary concept intelligently saves energy through a simple three-stage process. Firstly the air-conditioner unit Examines the level of activity and human presence in the room. It then proceeds to Evaluate the changes in human location, activity and presence. Thirdly, it Executes the strategic direction of airflow and sets the temperature based on the above-mentioned scenario. In addition to the ECONAVI and Intelligent Inverter features, both the Inverter and Deluxe Non-Inverter Series are equipped with the ADVANCED+PLUS e-ion Air Purifying System with Patrol Sensor, which is designed to monitor and regulate room air quality through the release of active e-ions. These e-ions catch airborne dust and particles and bring them back to the air-conditioner filter in a boomerang-like mechanism. The entire range of Panasonic s ECONAVI Inverter Series (1.0HP to 2.5HP) and Deluxe Non Inverter series (1.0HP & 1.5HP) have been awarded 5-star product rating for being the most energy efficient air-conditioners by the Malaysia Energy Commission, based on the results of energy performance tests by SIRIM. 3 In an Inverter air-conditioner, a power conversion circuit controls the compressors' rotating speed; hence, the air-conditioner s output. Once the desired room temperature has been achieved, the Intelligent Inverter Technology reduces the rotation frequency of the compressor by alternating power supply frequency. Hence, the air-conditioner runs on minimal power with finer temperature control. With this flexibility, our Inverter Series can achieve up to 50% less energy usage compared to the non-inverter units, added Ng. Equipped with Panasonic s Intelligent Inverter Technology, the FS Multi Air-Conditioning System allows better space management, energy efficiency, and is the ideal cooling solution for medium-sized residential and commercial structures.
