At this time Danfoss already had significant experience in temperature control of refrigeration plants, and developing that technology to regulate heating was a natural progression. 6 Local production in several countries Originally all Danfoss radiator thermostats were produced at the Danfoss headquarters in Nordborg, but in 1970 production was moved to the factory in Viby and later also to the factory in Silkeborg.
