6 Technical information The mixers are supplied WITH HANDLE. All washbasin and bidet mixers are fitted with 5 l/min flow restrictors and are supplied WITHOUT WASTE. In order to ensure that the mixers function correctly, it is recommended to install the filters, please refer to art or similar. The washbasin e bidet mixers are available in the following options: - PROGRESSIVE cartridge - TRADITIONAL cartridge - PROGRESSIVE CARTRIDGE MIXERS By turning the mixer 180 anticlockwise the water flows gets cold > warmer > hot. - TRADITIONAL CARTRIDGE MIXERS Water flow is controlled operating the handle up and down. Temperature is controlled rotating the handle right or left. BASINS HOLE SIZE: - 2-handle washbasin mixer. Ø 35 Ø hole washbasin mixer. 27 Purchase terms Order of goods: When a customer transmits the order he/she has accepted all of the following conditions. The order is binding for the customer whereas Fantini S.p.A. is bound after acceptance. Order cannot be cancelled without prior written agreement with Fantini S.p.A., who reserves the right to apply any cancellation fees. Fantini S.p.A reserves the right to debit any relevant charges. Prices: The prices in the price-list do not include VAT and they can be changed without prior notice. Unless otherwise agreed, the goods are sold ex-factory in Pella and include the package cost. Goods are sold at the prices in force at order placement. Delivery: The delivery terms agreed for the orders are not binding and are meant barring unexpected events including, by way of example, natural disasters, turmoil, strikes, fire, power shortages, missed or delayed delivery of raw materials and any other unexpected incidents. In any case they cannot give rise to any indemnity or refund on the part of Fantini S.p.A. Fantini S.p.A reserves the right to partial ship orders. Claims: goods travel at the buyer s risk even if sold free destination. When goods are received all customers must inspect the ordered goods. Any claim due to delays or damages of the material caused by transport must be addressed to the carrier at the moment of the delivery. Any complaints shall be forwarded to Fantini S.p.A. in written form and sent by registered post within 8 days from receipt of the goods together with a detailed description of the claim including photographic evidence, warranty and invoice copy. Payment: payments must be sent directly to Fantini S.p.A. by the agreed terms and conditions. If a payment does not reach Fantini S.p.A. within the terms and conditions previously agreed, Fantini S.p.A. will sum the interests to the cost accruing from the delay from the day after the due payment. These delay interests will be calculated according to law nr. 231/02. Any disrespect to the terms and conditions will enable Fantini S.p.A to suspend or postpone any further delivery of goods even if previously accepted. Any claim does not enable the customer to delay a payment. Property rights: The ownership of the delivered goods shall remain with FANTINI S.p.A. until these get fully paid by the customer. Customers information: Every customer is responsible for the fiscal data provided to Fantini S.p.A under the existing law. (Company Name, Address, VAT number). Customer s data will be saved and processed in compliance with D.lgs 196/2003. Responsibilities: Returned goods are only accepted prior to agreement by Fantini S.p.A and shall be sent back with freight prepaid by the customer. Only goods verified to be faulty by Fantini S.p.A will be replaced free of charge without any other indemnity or refund for damages or repairs. Fantini S.p.A is not responsible for any faulty goods which have been tampered in any way. Jurisdiction and law: Deliveries are regulated by the Italian law. For any dispute the only recognized place of jurisdiction will be Verbania (Italy).

28 Warranty CONVENTIONAL WARRANTY All Fantini S.p.A. products are guaranteed as follows: 1) 5 year warranty against casting defects and porosity; 2) 5 year warranty against cartridge and valve defects (the wear of components also depends on water quality as well as on system features). Warranty will not apply if the system and piping are not flushed before installation of the sanitary fittings. 3) 5 year warranty on Chrome (02), Brilliant Natural Steel (38), Brushed Stainless Steel (93), Matt Gun Metal PVD (P5), Matt British Gold PVD (P6) and Brushed Copper PVD (P7). Warranty will not apply whenever the defect results from wrong maintenance, including the use of unsuitable cleaning products. To this respect, every customer is recommended to follow our cleaning suggestions. 4) 3 year warranty on all other finishing. In order for the warranty to be applicable, we recommend filing your receipt, invoice or any other payment proof showing the date of purchase and including the warranty coupon. Warranty gives the right to receive spare parts for products working incorrectly as a result of a manufacture defect. Warranty will not apply to items or parts which are damaged or do not work properly owing to negligence of use or wrong maintenance, wrong installation, intervention by unqualified people or for force majeure. The defective materials will be returned at the customer s care to our factory together with the warranty coupon, the payment proof and any document corroborating that the system and piping were flushed before installation. Replacement will be delivered to the customer free of charge and on prepaid freight within short. If the above conditions are not fulfilled the warranty will not apply. This warranty excludes every and any responsibility of Fantini S.p.A. arising from defects resulting from a wrong use of the materials, improper use during installation or misuse of the same. EXCLUSION OF CONVENTIONAL WARRANTY AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL / COMPENSATION Our conventional warranty terms do not apply if products are sold/ installed abroad. Besides, any right of withdrawal and/or compensation for defective products as established by art.131 D.lgs 206/2005 (law safeguarding consumers rights) will not apply in the event of products sold/ installed abroad. For products sold/ installed abroad, only the legal warranty between Fantini and the first purchaser will apply. (Italian law art.1490 and following of civil code). CLEANING SUGGESTIONS Periodical maintenance of the taps will help maintaining the fittings in a good condition and efficient over time. We suggest to dry taps with a soft cloth or with a buck skin so to avoid the deposition of limestone. Cleaning is recommended with a liquid soap and water. Do not use liquid detergents containing abrasive substances or acids, abrasive sponges, vinegar, ammonia, acetone, bleach, domestic acids or any kind of disinfectants. The above products should not be used either to clean the sanitary ware close to the taps. Decalcification: Limestone and dirt deposits in aerator filters can be removed dismounting the aerator and putting it in a vinegar water solution (maximum concentration of 10 % at 20 c). Leave the aerator in the solution for a few hours, wash it with soap and water and then rinse it. Spare parts: We recommend to use only original Fantini spare parts available at our authorized dealers. WARNING! The use of wrong products could damage the surfaces of our taps permanently, and Fantini S.p.A. cannot be held responsible for that. The Manufacturer reserves the right to modify products and accessories at any time without prior notice. NOTE: Fantini S.p.A holds the right to change and/or cancel the items included in the above price-list and catalogues at any time. Information, sizes and drawings in the price-list and catalogues are only for information purposes and not binding. This pricelist cancels and replaces any previous pricelist.
