3 Franke Active Kitchen The intelligent kitchen system that adapts to your needs The new Franke Active Kitchen brings a new meaning to the concept of ergonomics, turning your sink area into a versatile self-contained kitchen work-station that adapts to your individual needs. The Franke Active Kitchen has been created in partnership with WMF, a leading supplier of premium quality kitchen equipment, and uses the wall space immediately behind your Franke sink as an easily accessible and adaptable storage facility for all the equipment you need to maximise practical usage of your sink area. Fixed to the wall above and behind your Franke sink are stainless steel profile bars. These profile bars have been designed with unique grooves which allow you to store the accompanying accessories, either empty or full. With such versatility at your fingertips, the Franke Active Kitchen adds a new dimension to food preparation and cooking, leaving work-surfaces clear and uncluttered maintaining the good looks and sleek lines of your kitchen.

Perforated Troflex Drainer Salad Spinner with integrated Strainer Bowl The Comfort Set The Comfort Set that comes as standard with your Franke Active Kitchen includes a white Hygenia chopping board, a waste bowl with handles and a perforated drainer tray plus there is a choice of optional extras including salad spinner with integrated strainer bowl and 3 piece cheese-grater set with matching bowl. White Hygenia Food Preparation Platter Utensils The utensils and sink are designed to complement each other, with an integral strainer bowl fitting snugly into the centre bowl. Many of the Active Kitchen utensils fit into the same circular space, giving you a versatile working area in between the main bowl and drainer whilst other utensils fit over the sink, for yet more choice as to how you maximise use of this valuable working area. Sink Options The sink itself is available in both right-hand and left-hand inset versions and incorporates three separate waste-water outlets for easy drainage, as well as two separate drainer zones. The figure in the symbol is designed to indicate the relative flow rate performance for each tap. The rate is graded 1-8 where 1 is poor and 8 is excellent. Relative flow rates are only likely to be relevant in installations with a low head of water (below 4 metres) or low cold supply pressure. In either case you would be well advised to consult your supplier or installer. The KickMatic (700 K) is operated hands-free by a kick of the pedal the door opens instantly to give access to separate compartments for easy segregation of kitchen waste. Alternatively choose the Motion (700 M) for a smooth closing operation from a touch of the hand. The description reversible means that the design enables the same sink to be turned to drainer on the left or drainer on the right. In the case of a handed sink it is necessary to specify which side the drainer is required e.g. AKX 654 left hand drainer or AKX 654 right hand drainer. All bowl sizes and dimensions are described in mm. Franke sinks are guaranteed for 25 years against manufacturing defect. Franke taps are guaranteed against defective materials and workmanship for 1 year in relation to coatings and finishes, and 5 years in relation to moving parts. Franke will replace (and where appropriate repair) defective sinks. In relation to taps, Franke will, where appropriate, provide replacement parts for your taps or replace your taps at their discretion. Any associated or ancillary costs to be incurred by you as a result of replacement of Franke sinks and taps under this guarantee shall in all cases be previously approved by Franke UK Limited. This guarantee is in addition to and does not affect your statutory rights. Prices shown are UK mainland prices effective from 1st April 2005 and include VAT at the current rate of 17.5%.
