Gold Plus Residential Protection Gas Heating Plan Standard Units ONE YEAR PLAN This plan provides coverage for parts and labor for one non-condensing gas fired heating unit and one domestic hot water heater unit as described below. COVERAGE: The plan is available for one or two family homes only. The plan covers parts as described below. The plan covers labor for unlimited service calls for covered parts as listed below. The plan begins upon acceptance by Gayson Plumbing, approx. 14 days after payment and signed contract is received in our office. The plan does not cover pre-existing conditions and Gayson Plumbing has the right to inspect all equipment before accepting the equipment for service under the plans coverage. Emergency service is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Gayson Plumbing will make every effort to respond to each call promptly. All parts supplied by Gayson Plumbing will be warranted for one year from installation date. If part proves to be defective, Gayson plumbing shall either repair, replace, or issue a credit for the defective part. Gayson Plumbing will not be held responsible for any delays in failing to obtain necessary parts which is beyond our reasonable control. Gayson plumbing will not be liable for loss of use of equipment or the cost of replacement of the actual heating equipment or water heater. ****The plan covers one maintenance and safety visit annually. 3 EXCLUSIONS: If thermostat is found to be set below house temperature, this will result in a charge to you. Electrical power failure (including blown fuses/circuit breakers, or emergency shut-off switch is in off position) is not covered. If water level is found not at the proper level in a steam boiler, there will be a charge for call. Automatic Water Feed Device is not included. Work performed by any other person other than Gayson Plumbing is not covered. Gayson Plumbing holds the right to void any or whole part of this contract if work is performed on the heating system by any other than Gayson Plumbing. If a problem is found to not be covered under plan, part cost and labor rate will be billed at rates current at the time of service call. The plan does not include routine bleeding of system. The plan excludes cleaning furnaces, steam systems, and boiler water tubes. The plan does not cover air humidifier or related parts. Expansion tanks on domestic water lines to water heaters are NOT included. These devices are installed due to domestic backflow and/or check valve installations and are considered plumbing system components. The plan does not include thermostat, thermostat wire, or labor for installation of. The plan excludes replacement of furnace, boiler, boiler sections, tankless coil, conversion burner, and/or hot water heater. The plan does not cover any sheet metal work (with the exception of single walled galvanized flue pipe). The plan does not cover any materials, parts, or labor required as a result of unusual circumstances, such as floods, water damage, fires, freezing, equipment abuse, or any other circumstance beyond our control. Customers are responsible for the ordinary maintenance of equipment such as replacing filters, batteries, and oiling of motors. Platinum Residential Protection Gas Heating Plan for High Efficiency Condensing, Combi, and Tankless Units ONE YEAR PLAN This plan provides coverage for parts and labor for one condensing, combi or tankless gas fired heating and/or domestic hot water unit and one standard domestic hot water heater unit as described below.
