Low consumption is also a priority, so our appliances not only save you money, they minimise environmental damage too. And because we put hygiene and food safety at a premium, most of our fridges have a special anti-bacterial lining to protect against micro-organism growth. 2 features & benefits From super cool, to super freeze, anti-bacterial linings to electronic control, Bosch refrigeration models offer state-of-the-art technology. Auto-defrost Automatically defrosts the fridge at regular intervals without the need to switch off the appliance or remove the food stored. Dishwasher safe Most of the interior fittings of our fridges are dishwasher safe. This means you can clean them with maximum ease. Auto closing The hinge mechanisms on our reversible doors are designed so that if you don t close the door properly, the hinge will do the rest for you, preventing temperature rise and minimising consumption. Sliding hinges The sliding hinge featured on models KIM GB, KIM GB, KIR GB and GIL GB is attached to a slide connector pre-fitted at the factory, which offers a simple low cost route to adding door furniture. It offers adjustment in depth and height for precise fitting. Anti-bacterial protection Most models have a natural special lining within the fridge section which gives lifetime protection against bacteria, micro-organism and algae growth, providing the safest possible storage environment for your food. Safety glass shelves Our superb safety glass shelves have an anti-spillage trim and can hold up to 3 4 pint of fluid just in case there is an accident. They also have a non-slip surface which is scratch-resistant and easy to clean. Flat hinge design Bosch now offer an alternative hinge design to facilitate the quick and easy fitting of secondary furniture doors, without the need for extra drilling. Easy to fit, this design takes up to 45kg of weight on the door, offers an increased opening angle of 115 and features automatic door closing at an angle of less than 20. Height-adjustable shelves All our fridges are fitted with heightadjustable shelves. As an additional convenience, some models also feature a split shelf which can be adjusted to accommodate larger items. 3 features & benefits New electronic control Accurate temperature control is essential to maximise the freshness of your food. Our new range of built-in fridge freezers allow you to adjust the fridge temperature to 2, 4, 6 or 8 C and include a Super cool and fast freeze function. Energy efficient Our cooling products offer among the most efficient performance in the industry. This not only minimises environmental damage but saves you money. Over half our range are A-rated and the remainder B-rated. Energy Fridge Manufacturer Model KIL GB Pull-out fridge tray The pull-out fridge tray is suitable for the storage of cold meat, cheese and other small items and can be positioned at any level. Humidity control The sliding humidity control allows adjustment of both temperature and humidity levels to maximise the shelf life of fruits and vegetables. Lettuce, for example should be stored at high air humidity compared to other fruit and vegetables. Transparent drawers Durable see-through drawers, give an ata-glance view of the freezer contents, which keeps the time the door is open to a minimum. Removable door accessories The racks within the door interior can be removed for easy cleaning. The dairy compartment comes with a lid that protects the contents from taste and odour transfer. The flip-up egg-inserts hold eggs safely in place. The bottle rack is large and strong, providing safe storage for bottles. Supercool function When new food is added to the fridge the internal temperature increases, as your fridge has to work hard to cool down, food already stored in there gets warm. For maximum preservation Supercool prepares your fridge by rapidly reducing the temperature keeping the contents cool and quickly lowering the temperature of new groceries down to 2ºC. Fast freeze Extremely low temperatures ensure that fresh food is frozen rapidly, so preserving the food s natural goodness and protecting the freezer contents when the door is open for long periods, i.e. when re-stocking the freezer. Frost free This innovative system eliminates the formation of ice on food and the freezer interior, meaning you never again have to worry about defrosting the freezer again. Intelligent electronics ensure that the defrost operation is only initiated when the appliance actually needs it. Warning system Our freezer units have either an optical or an optical and acoustic alarm which in the event of power failure will alert you in plenty of time to rectify the problem. Freezer compartment Bosch 4 star freezer compartments allow frozen food to be stored at below 18 C so that it can be stored for longer. Visual check On the freezer compartment within our standard fridges, we have a visual check of a red dot in the opening handle highlighting if the door is not closed properly. 0% CFCs and HFCs All our refrigeration products are completely CFC (chlorofluorocarbons) and HFC (hydrofluorocarbons) free gases that cause lasting damage to the earth s ozone layer. The new electronic control featured on the KIV GB allows you to adjust the fridge temperature to 2, 4, 6 or 8 C and include a Super cooling function which rapidly cools food or drink down to 2 C.
