Hard-wearing and tough to beat Our Stainless steel sinks are premium quality 18/10 chrome nickel steel, which looks beautiful, is resistant to staining, rust and corrosion, and is easy to keep clean plus it won t chip, craze, flake or break. Franke ceramic sinks (many in traditional designs) are made from kiln-fired porcelain whose tough, smooth gloss finish stands up to even the harshest treatment - whilst our Fragranite sinks contain 80% granite, delivering enormous strength and resistance to impact, scuffs and stains. 17 Tips and Tricks Keep your Franke products in perfect condition * To maintain your Franke sink, taps and accessories in pristine condition, here are some hints on keeping them clean, well maintained and properly installed. Stubborn stains can be removed from Fragranite sinks with biological washing powder, a concentration of dishwasher powder (sometimes left overnight) or Bar Keepers Friend. Stainless steel sinks can be cleaned with proprietary cleaners such as Shiny Sinks. When taps are fitted they may require bracing on the underside of the sink. Additional support can be achieved by battening the tap tails to the cabinet or wall. Please note that compression fittings must be used (see Installation Instructions). Clean only with mild detergent and never use proprietary cleaners, otherwise the guarantee may be invalidated. Chopping boards should be regularly oiled to prolong life and should be dried by inverting them to avoid warping. Baskets should never have sharp objects placed in them, since this will cut the coating and reduce the basket s working life. When fitting a waste disposal unit to a single bowl sink, you will need a connection kit for connecting the overflow to the unit. Alternatively, a blanking plate may be required. *Whilst these are our suggestions for keeping your Franke sinks and accessories clean, you should always read manufacturers instructions before using any of the cleaning products and processes described in order to ensure that you do not damage surfaces or materials. 17

In the case of a handed sink it is necessary to specify which side the drainer is required e.g. EUX 621 left hand drainer or EUX 621 right hand drainer. All bowl sizes and dimensions are described in mm. Franke sinks are guaranteed for 25 years against manufacturing defect. Franke taps are guaranteed against defective materials and workmanship for 1 year in relation to coatings and finishes, and 5 years in relation to moving parts. Franke will replace (and where appropriate repair) defective sinks. In relation to taps, Franke will, where appropriate, provide replacement parts for your taps or replace your taps at their discretion. Any associated or ancillary costs to be incurred by you as a result of replacement of Franke sinks and taps under this guarantee shall in all cases be previously approved by Franke UK Limited.
