As the thermostat is the main focus of any heating or cooling system it must look good on the wall and compliment any décor, be very easy to use and meet all the needs of the user and the equipment it is controlling. Our thermostat has a low profile, sitting only 12mm off the wall and has an unobtrusive appeal so it wont look out of place on your wall. Amazing Features This thermostat has been specially developed to work with your Omega Evaporative Cooler and/or Omega Ducted Heater. The easy to read touchscreen display features an adjustable backlight for easy viewing even at night. Easy to Use The thermostat has touch buttons for all key features including Heat and Cool modes; Variable Fan Speed Selection in Cooling mode, with auto fan speed option; and Power on/off. Simplicity of one control You can also use the Omega thermostat to control the Omega Ducted Heaters, no more need for multiple thermostat installations on your walls, control your heating and cooling from the one device. So you only need to learn how to use one thermostat for your complete home comfort... now that s handy. The set and forget control temperature selection makes operating your thermostat an easy task. 12 Gas Ducted Heating Zone Heat Efficiency To ensure efficient use of our natural resources zone heating allows you to heat only the area you need to heat. Why heat the bedrooms during the day or the living areas at night? It doesn t make sense does it! With our ZMS heaters you can heat only the living areas during the day and only the bedrooms at night it s easy with Omega. Simply closing vents is not enough. Omega zoned heaters automatically reduce gas and fan outputs when a particular zone is shutoff. Economy Our high efficiency heaters ensure that you get the maximum amount of heat output for gas input. The Gas Energy Rating of our heaters is either 3 star or 4 star, offering a choice of efficiency depending on your budget. Our ZMS heaters combined with dual thermostats and high efficiency allow you to maintain ideal comfort levels throughout the entire house whilst slashing energy costs and protecting the environment. Two thermostats are better than one Traditionally, most residential heating systems rely on one thermostat to monitor both zones. Unfortunately a single thermostat can only read the average temperature of the area in which it is located. This results in uneven temperatures and wasted heating energy. Omega s optional unique dual thermostat system allows you to set a different temperature in each zone. Constant monitoring of the system means that only the exact amount of energy needed is used since the heater instantly reacts to the temperature measured within each zone. 13 Gas Ducted Heating Choose a thermostat to suit your needs There are two options for thermostats to control the Omega Climate Systems gas ducted heaters. You can choose from either our high end touchscreen thermostat with large backlit display which will control both our ducted heating and evaporative cooling systems or a simple rotary controlled thermostat which can be used to control the ducted heating only. If you like to keep things simple, we have our standard rotary controlled thermostat, it doesn t get any easier, just switch it on and set the knob to your desired temperature. If you are a person who likes to be in control, the Omega digital thermostat is still simple to use with its set and forget control temperature selection and it s touchscreen display. 17 Plastic Moulding Plastic Moulding & Automotive Applications At Omega Plastics we currently use our injection moulding machines to supply a large number of industries including the heating & cooling industry with our roof mounted evaporative cooling boxes and wall mounted thermostat controllers. We mould a variety of car parts for the automotive industry, ranging from car bumpers to truck fenders. We manufacture slimline water tanks from high impact ultra violet resistant Polypropylene. All of our products are manufactured under strict quality assurance practices. 17

18 Production Line Production Line & Assembly At Omega Plastics we employ a team of experienced and dedicated operators who run the equipment to ensure efficiency in setup, process control, monitoring, as well as getting handson on the assembly line. Our Quality Management system is based on the international requirements of ISO9001/TS16949 which apply to the design/development, production and assembly procedures. Our production line is capable of full online assembly. Products currently assembled on the line include our own ducted heating systems and evaporative cooling systems. Automotive application assembly includes large bumper fascias, radiator grilles, interior trims and underhood components. Robot driven cutting may also be integrated into the subassembly process for a range of derivative parts from common base mouldings. 18
