1 ATTACHMENT A - Services Specifications Notes- Annual services to be performed prior to the start of the school year (June 15-Aug 1) Schedules for clearing must be approved by each building s chief administrator Any job requiring the use of a propane buffer must be done at night or at times when the building ins inactive If any furniture needs to be moved in order to complete annual services the cleaning personnel will ensure that any furniture moved is returned to its original position Any call-backs due to cleaning personnel not locking, alarming and closing first floor windows of the building will be charged to company Classrooms C lassrooms with carpeted areas must be vacuumed every day and carpet spot clean as needed. More frequent extracting of the carpet may be required during the normal school year due to unforeseen soiling. Principal will make the request to the contractor s supervisor. Hard surface floors must be mopped daily. Empty wastebaskets Spot clean furniture, including chairs and tables Spot clean all window glass glass partitions, and walls to hand height Dry mop/vacuum all hard surface floors Spot mop hard surface floors with all purpose/neutral cleaner Vacuum carpet Dust/vacuum as needed to include vents Spot clean carpets as needed Vacuum walk off mats Secure any exterior doors and windows and turn off lights before leaving room Semi-Annually - Scrub and refinish with 2 coats, all hard surface floors Annually- Wash all windows and glass partitions (both sides) Strip and refinish all hard surface floors 3 coats (in addition to semi-annual scrub) Extract/steam clean carpeting and apply soil retardant fabric coating

Dust/vacuum all vents. Clean baseboards Damp clean window ledges Remove fingerprints from doors, frames, light switches, kick plates, handles and railings Monthly High dustvacuum above hand height (60 ) horizontal surfaces, including shelves, molding, pipes, etc. Remove dust and cobwebs from ceiling areas and lights Dust window blinds Semi-Annually Scrub and refinish all hard surface floors with high solids floor finish (2 coats) Annually Wash all windows and glass partitions (on both sides) Strip and refinish all composition floors with high solids floor finish (3 coats) Clean carpeting and apply soil retardant fabric coating Library Dry mop hard surfacefloors Damp mop hard surface floors

Monthly High dust/vacuum above hand height (60 ) horizontal surfaces, including shelves, pipes, molding, etc. Remove dust and cobwebs from ceiling areas Semi-Annually Scrub and refinish all hard surface floors with high solids floor finish (2 coats) Clean windows inside and out Annually Clean windows inside and out Strip and refinish all hard surface floors with high solids floor finish (3 coats) Corridors and Stairways Spot clean glass partitions and doors Clean and sanitize water fountains Dust mop all composition floors Spot mop hard surface floors with all purpose/neutral cleaner Vacuum carpet Spot clean carpets as needed Vacuum walk off mats Clean under entrance mats daily, inside and out Remove graffiti from walls and lockers Weekly High speed burnish all composition floors with restorer Dust furniture, window ledges and all lockers, if building is equipped after burnishing floors Clean baseboards Damp clean window ledges Remove fingerprints from doors, frames, light switches, kick plates, handles and railings
4 Monthly High dust/vacuum above hand height (60 ) horizontal surfaces, including shelves, molding, pipes, etc. Remove dust and cobwebs from ceiling areas and lights Semi-Annually Refinish all hard surface floors Clean all carpet and apply soil retardant fabric coating Clean lobby windows (both sides) Annually Strip and refinish all hard surface floors Clean carpeting and apply soil retardant fabric coating Restrooms/Dressing Rooms/Locker Rooms/Restrooms in Lounges and Offices Check restrooms throughout the school day Empty wastebasket and replace liners Clean and sanitize all vitreous fixtures including toilet bowls, urinals, and hand basins Clean and polish chrome fittings Clean and polish glass and mirrors Remove spots, strings and splashes from walls, commodes, partitions and urinals Spot clean metal partitions Vacuum floors Damp mop floors with germicidal disinfectant Re-supply expendable restroom dispensers Remove graffiti and marks from walls, partitions, commodes, urinals Weekly- Low dust/vacuum horizontal surfaces to hand height (60 ) Sweep baseboards Remove fingerprints from doors, frames, light switches, kick plates, push plates, handles, railings, etc. Thoroughly clean floors and walls with germicidal disinfectant Dust metal partitions and lockers Clean and sanitize exterior of containers Flush and check floor drains High dust/vacuum above hand height (70 ) horizontal surfaces, including shelves, pipes, molding, etc.
5 Monthly - Remove dust and cobwebs from ceiling areas and lights. Maintenance personnel will clean areas located above reachable from 6 foot ladder Machine scrub all restroom and locker room floors with germicidal disinfectant solution including baseboards and corners Miscellaneous Areas: Bleachers Use high power blower or sweep stands after each event Dry mop and spot mop floors Non-Serviced Areas Food preparation area in kitchen and service line cleanup in this area will be the responsibility of the cafeteria personnel Day Porters Responsibilities Police restrooms after each class break Police outside property at least one time per day Change lamps in any fixture that are out (provided by the District) Clean cafeteria floors after lunch and empty trash Clean and mop any accident that may occur during the day Unlock the building in the morning Provide minor assembly of furniture as needed Respond to inquiries made by the principal Clean all entrance doors and windows Lock and secure the building at night Building Exterior Replace all plastic trash liners in waste receptacles weekly or more frequently if needed Pick up any trash outside on the building grounds spot clean receptacles Remove graffiti and marks from walls, sidewalk, stairways, and playgrounds Inspect playgrounds for damage or other unsafe conditions Periodic Maintain landscaping by cutting grass, bushes, removing weeds and any other greenery Conduct any other cleaning as directed by the building administrator/principal
6 During Winter/Inclement Weather Salt, sand and prep sidewalks and any walking area outside of the building Remove snow from sidewalks and any walking area outside of the building Conduct any other cleaning as directed by the building administrator/principal END OF SECTION
