1 THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF IROQUOIS FALLS BY-LAW NO. 3297/15 "Being a by-law to impose Waste Management Fees and ChargesJor the use of, and services provided at, the municipallandjill site. " WHEREAS Council of the Corporation of the Town of Iroquois Falls is desirous to establish fees and charges for the municipal landfill site; and WHEREAS the Municipal Act S.O. 2001, c.25, as amended, authorizes municipalities to impose such fees and charges. NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF IROQUOIS FALLS ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: I. That the fees and charges for the services, activities and use of the municipal landfill site are set as per Schedule "A" to this by-law. 2. That the fees and charges imposed by this by-law are due and payable: (1) at the time of the transaction for which the fee or charge is imposed; or (2) if subsection 2(1) is not applicable, upon the due date specified in any invoice issued by the municipality. 3. That interest charges and other penalties for late payment or non-payment of fees and charges shall be imposed at the rate of 1.25 percent, per month, of the amount in default. 4. That the treasurer may add the fees and charges imposed by the municipality to the tax roll of any property, for which all of the owners are responsible for paying the fees and charges, in the local municipality and collect them in the same manner as municipal taxes. 5. That in the event of any conflict between the Schedule to this by-law and any other by-law of the municipality, the Schedule to this by-law shall prevail. 6. That this by-law be deemed to come into force and effect on February IS" That by-law is repealed upon the coming into force of this by-law.
