Heatrae Sadia s ventilation systems meet and exceed the most stringent regulations and provide class-leading performance, at every code level and for every budget. Mechanical systems provide continuous air supply and extraction, removing contaminated, wet air from kitchens, utility rooms, washrooms and bathrooms, with heat recovery units also recycling heat from the removed air back in to the fresh air supply into other living areas of the property. 4 Mechanical and Heat Recovery Advance Unit HRU ECO 4 Page 4 Indoor air quality and energy efficiency are very important considerations in dwellings today. The Heatrae Sadia Advance Unit has been developed to meet these demands and offers controlled and better ventilation for a healthy and comfortable indoor climate in full compliance with current building regulations, while retaining the heat to an efficiency of up to 90%. Heatra Sadia s Advance is the mechanical ventilation heat recovery (MVHR) solution for dwellings with up to 115 square metres of floor space and five wet rooms. It s so efficient that its specific fan power (SFP) of just 0.37 W/l/s led to the creation of the 0.4 W/l/s or less category within SAP Appendix Q. The unit can be laid on its back, in a loft or fixed to walls or ceilings with a unique bracket, which can be supplied to site prior to installation. The unit comes with easy fit spigots and rubber seals. No tools are required by the customer to remove and check the filters. Two screws need to be removed to take out the fan on an annual service check by an engineer. In short, Advance is the easy, yet powerful MVHR choice where space and budgets are tight. The HRU ECO 4 ensures year-round comfort and low energy bills to occupants of the modern airtight home. While removing contaminated wet air from kitchens, utility rooms and bathrooms, the unit simultaneously introduces fresh preheated air to other rooms in the home. The HRU ECO 4 diverts up to 91% of heat from the air leaving the building into the incoming supply. A 100% summer bypass valve prevents unwanted heat entering the home on hotter days, while, at the other end of the temperature gauge, a frost protection device prevents the unit from freezing. Suitable for homes with up to 175 square metres of floor space, the HRU ECO 4 uses less energy than intermittent fans. Ideal for properties of up to 175m² habitable floor area. Specific Fan Power of less than 0.5 W/l/s. 91% heat exchanger efficiency. Built-in 100% summer bypass. Built-in frost protection device. Dimensions 730mm wide x 477mm deep x 848mm high (including spigot). Only 25kg lift weight. Available in both House and Apartment configurations. Hard wired or remote wireless control available to work with the units.

MVHR (Mechanical HEAT recovery) The CVE ECO 2 range of products (continuous mechanical extract system) not only outperforms intermittent fans, it uses less energy too. The continuous flow of air created by the CVE ECO 2 removes wet and contaminated air from kitchens, utility rooms and bathrooms to leave a clean healthy indoor climate for occupants. A high-efficiency DC motor powers the unit while backward curved blades on the impeller minimise dust build-up. This means that occupants with a CVE ECO 2 enjoy more comfort and lower fuel bills. CVE ECO 2 fan model has capacity to move 325m³/h@150 pa of air. CVE ECO 2 HP model has capacity to move 415m³/h@150 pa of air. Specific fan power of just 0.18 W/l/s in homes with kitchen, wet room and up to six additional rooms (exceeding the EST s 0.6 W/l/s recommendation). MVE (Mechanical Extract) Light, quiet and easy to maintain. Controllable by wired three-way switch or remote wireless controller from any number of rooms. The colour of the LED can vary depending on the situation: The LED flashes green when the order is carried out. The LED flashes orange if there is a warning in the connected appliance (for example, a dirty filter signal for an HRU). The LED flashes red if there is no longer any communication with the connected appliance or if the connected appliance returns an alarm.
