1 INSTRUCTION MANUAL MIXER GRINDER Model: SB-138 Read this booklet thoroughly before using and save it for future reference

2 IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS Before using the SBOSE electrical appliance, the following basic precautions should always be followed including the following: 1. Read all instructions. 2. Before using check that the voltage power corresponds to the one shown on the appliance nameplate. 3. SBOSE appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug. Please ensure the wall outlet in your house is well earthed. 4. To protect against electric risk, do not put Motor unit into water or other liquid. 5. Do not operate any SBOSE appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment. 6. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. 7. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter. 8. Do not let cord contact hot surface, including the stove. 9. Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children or infirm persons. 10. Ensure fingers are kept well away from moving parts. 11. Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. 12. Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but must be used only when the blender is not running. 13. To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutting blade on base without first putting bowl properly in place. 14. Always operate SBOSE blender with cover in place. 15. Do not blend hot liquids 16. Be sure chopping cover is securely locked in place before operating appliance. 17. Avoid contacting moving parts. 1

This appliance is not intended for used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety. 19. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. 20. Ensure that the SBOSE blender is switched off before removing it from the stand. 21. The use of accessory not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire,electric shock or injury 22. The appliance can not be used for blending hard and dry substance, otherwise the blade could be blunted. 23. Do not operate the SBOSE appliance for other than its intended use. 24. 4 KNOW YOUR SBOSE BLENDER Center Lid Top Cover Control knob Handle Jar Cup Motor Unit Blade Speed Selector Cup Base Before using, choose the appropriate attachment to perform the task, blender for crushing ice, smoothie, mixing, purees; chopper for grinding coffee beans. USING THE SBOSE BLENDER 1. Place the jar on the Motor Unit and slightly turn the jar clockwise,as the arrow on it show until the trigonal marker on Motor Unit aligns with the dot on jar.(see Fig. 1) 3

5 2. Put the food piece into the jar. The amount of food should not exceed the max level as indicated on the jar. Warning: never run the appliance empty! 3. Replace the Top Cover on the jar, then turn clockwise until you hear an audible sound and the tab of jar in the snap of Top cover properly, so the top cover can fix with jar securely and safety device is effective. (see Fig. 2) 4. Let the tab of Center Lid aligns with the groove of Top Cover then put down if necessary. 5. Connect the plug to wall outlet and set Speed Selector to your desired setting. You can turn the knob to M position if want to accelerate the process of blending. The detailed information of Speed Selector is as following figure Do not run the SBOSE appliance for more than 3 minutes per time. Minimum 3 minutes rest period is required between two consecutive cycles. 7. Turn the Speed Selector to O Position once the mixture has been blended to your desired consistency. 8. Turn the jar counterclockwise then remove. 4

6 9. Press down Control Knob along surface of handle then turn Top cover counterclockwise, take down it, pour and serve. SBOSE CHOPPER OPERATION 1. Place the motor base on the flat horizontal surface and make sure it is unplugged. 2. Fill the Cup with coffee beans, the quantity of coffee beans shall not exceed 30g 3. Then assemble the Cup Base by turn it in anticlockwise, until the Cup Base screwed tightly into the cup (See Fig Fig 4 4); then assemble the Cup Unit assembly into the motor unit, so that the Cup base is locked into the groove of motor unit by turn the assembly in clockwise. The position is a safety interlock device. ( see fig.5) 4. You can turn the speed selector to the desired setting or hold on the M position if want to accelerate the process of blending. Note: The appliance allows you to chop the maximum quantity of coffee beans is 30g. Do not overfill the Cup. Fig 5 5. Allow the blade stop running before removing the Cup Unit. 6. Disconnect the supply once finished. Disassemble the Cup Unit and remove the Cup Base. Then empty the bowl and serve. Careful the Cup is under the Cup base when disassembled the Cup Base from the Cup to avoid the powder splashed. 7. Do not run the SBOSE appliance for more than 1 minutes per time. Minimum 5 minutes rest period is required between two consecutive cycles. WARNING: 1. Never operate the SBOSE appliance more than 15 seconds per time without loaded. 2. Blades are very sharp. Handle with care. 5

7 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE For blender The Auto Clean feature can clean the blender and blade assembly easily, rapidly in complete safety. - Pour a little warm soapy water into the Jar and turn the Speed Selector to P position for a few seconds. - Remove the Jar and rinse under running water. - Wiping the outer surface of Motor Unit with a damp cloth, do not use abrasive cleansers. Never immerse in water for cleaning - Dry all parts and then replace them If any problem has been encountered during use never disassemble the Motor Base by yourself, no user serviceable parts inside. Contact only the authorized service facility for examination and repair. For chopper 1. Use a brush to clean the Cup, and the Cup Base; Do not immerse the Cup Base in water; and be careful the blade is sharp! Note: Generally, disassemble the Cup base from the Cup. 2. Never immerse the motor base into water for cleaning. Wipe the outer surface with damp cloth. Environment friendly disposal You can help protect the environment! Please remember to respect the local regulations: hand in the non-working electrical equipments to an appropriate waste disposal center. 6
