1 , Base eries Fan Coil izes 018 Thru 060 Product Data AIR HANDLER TECHNOLOGY AT IT FINET The and direct-expansion fan coils are designed to cover a wide range of air handling requirements. They are compact and ready to fit where needed, in the basement, crawlspace, attic, utility room, or closet. The unique cabinet design of these fan coils meet new stringent regulations for cabinet air leakage, a requirement of 2% cabinet leakage rate when tested at 1.0 inches of static pressure. The and units are shipped with a factory -installed hard -shutoff thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) metering device with an internal check valve for reverse flow bi -pass capability. All units come with solid state fan controls, 1 -inch thick insulation with R value of 4.2, super -quiet multispeed motors, and fully wettable coils. Units can accommodate factory or field -installed heaters from 3 to 30 kw. The design is a residential new construction (RNC) model available for use with Puronr, the environmentally sound refrigerant. It comes with or without factory -installed disconnects. It has a pre-painted (gray) galvanized insulated steel casing, 2 -speed PC motor in the 018 through 036 sizes, and 3 -speed PC motors in the 042 through 060 sizes. The has all the same quality features as the, but is for use with R -22 refrigerant.

Disconnect Kit The kit is used to disconnect electrical power to the fan coil so service or maintenance may be performed safely. UGGETED UE: Units for 3 - through -kw electric resistance heaters and cooling controls. 2. Downflow Base Kit This kit is designed to provide a 1 -in. minimum clearance between unit discharge plenum, ductwork, and combustible materials. It also provides a gap -free seal with the floor. REQUIRED UE: This kit must be used whenever fan coils are used in downflow applications. 3. Downflow Conversion Kit Fan coils are shipped from the factory for upflow or horizontal-left applications. Downflow conversion kits provide proper condensate water drainage and support for the coil when used in downflow applications. eparate kits are available for slope coils and A -coils. REQUIRED UE: This kit must be used whenever fan coils are used in downflow applications. 4. ingle Point Wiring Kit The single point wiring kit acts as a jumper between L1 and L3 lugs, and between the L2 and L4 lugs. This allows the installer to run two heavy -gauge, high -voltage wires into the fan coil rather than 4 light-gauge, high -voltage wires. UGGETED UE: Fan coils with 15 - and 20 -kw fused heaters only. 5. Filter Kit (12 pack) The kit consists of 12 fan coil framed filters. These filters collect large dust particles from the return air entering the fan coil and prevents them from collecting on the coil. This process helps to keep the coil clean, which increases heat transfer and, in turn, the efficiency of the system. UGGETED UE: To replace filters in fan coils. REQUIRED UE: All units unless a filter grille is used. 6. Power Plug Kit The kit consists of 25 wire harness assemblies. Each plug provides the high -voltage power connection to the fan coil in the absence of electric heat. REQUIRED UE: Units installed without electric heat. 7. Condensate Drain Trap Kit This kit consists of 50 PVC condensate traps. Each trap is pre-formed and ready for field installation. This deep trap helps the system make and hold proper condensate flow even during blower initiation. UGGETED UE: All fan coils. 8. Air Cleaner 240 -volt Conversion Kit The AIRA electronic air cleaner comes ready for 115 -v operation. REQUIRED UE: This kit is required when running 240 -volt circuit to air cleaner. 9. Downflow/Horizontal Conversion Gasket Kit This kit provides the proper gasketing of units when applied in either a downflow or horizontal application. REQUIRED UE: Fan coils in either downflow or horizonatal applications..
