2 HOW TO CHOOSE Start planning your bathroom by thinking about the wall space you have available for a washstand and washbasin, since this is the centre of most bathroom activities. The HEMNES series comprises washstands of different sizes and storage capacities. After you have decided on the size of the washstand, you can choose between white and black-brown finishes. The drawers in HEMNES washstand are smooth running and pull out fully so you can easily see and reach what s inside. Pull-out stops prevent the drawers from being pulled out too far and falling, which is especially practical if you have children. 2. IKEA washbasins come in different sizes and materials. You can choose a single or double washbasin, depending on your needs and space. The washbasins suitable for HEMNES are made in ceramic. Ceramic washbasins have a glazed finish and are easy to clean. They have excellent scratch resistance and are very durable. All washbasins come with a water trap and strainer. The water trap is flexible and can be connected to both washing machines and dishwashers. 3. You can find a wide selection of washbasin mixer taps at IKEA.
