4 Our premium finishes Shining Chrome and Gold The Faucet Strommen chrome finish has a superior lustre and smoothness. This results from finer polishing and better finishing techniques. Under the chrome a thick layer of pure nickel provides outstanding toughness and bonding to the brass base metal. This finish lasts longer, is much tougher and will not peel, fade or wear through with age. (.11) Chrome (.12) Chrome/Gold All Cascade products are available in chrome with chrome or gold trim. The gold colour trim is achieved using titanium vapour. This is many times more durable than traditional gold plating and will not discolour or wear through with age. Gloss White & Almond Ivory These beautiful white and almond finishes are available throughout the entire Cascade range. This allows for more scope in bathroom design and allows you to match décor or create the soft look. (.31) White/Chrome (.32) White/Gold To achieve this level of shine and smoothness we have built a specialised facility in Australia. Each part goes through a 6 stage washing and treating process before the finish is hand applied and the parts are oven baked. 5 Solid Brass Construction Cascade tapware, showers and accessories are made from solid brass. even the handles and dress rings are produced from pure brass, forged or turned. A special de-zincification resistant brass alloy is used where required so that the material does not break down or fail over time. Rubber boot protects wall cavity All Cascade wall top assemblies are fitted with the unique rubber boot seal. Hidden beneath the flange, this fits over the valve body and seals against the tiles preventing splash water that runs down the wall from penetrating the wall cavity thus protecting it from moisture and damage. Flange Seal keeps valve dry Technology Cascade Jumper Valve Tapware Traditional jumper action valves are standard on Cascade cross handle tapware. These use precision screw down spindles and jumper washers to create the seal against the tap seat. Cascade taps use premium copper jumpers with high performance polyurethane sealing washers for optimum performance and outstanding service life. The Luxury of Ceramic Disc For silky smoothness and precision you can t go passed Faucet Strommen ceramic disc tapware. Both cross and lever handle taps are available with ceramic disc valves. Instead of squashing a seal between the jumper and the seat each time you close the tap, these valves use highly polished ceramic discs that slide over each other to open and close the flow ports. This means the handle glides though a fixed rotation and comes to a definite stop and does not need to be tightened shut. Cascade ceramic disc valves will perform effortlessly with no maintenance for many years. A special feature with Cascade tapware is the flange seal which is a small ring fitted inside the flange on which the spindle runs. This gives Cascade the smooth, wobble free action as well as providing a seal that stops moisture entering the flange and discolouring the basin. Handles won t work loose An anti-rattle ring is fitted inside all Cascade handles. This ring is compressed when the handles are fixed to the spindle providing a locking effect that will prevent the tap buttons from working loose over time. Rock Solid Mounting for Bathroom Accessories Cascade bathroom accessories will never wobble or work loose thanks to the innovative mounting system. The solid brass forged mount block fixes to the wall with 3 stainless steel screws. The flange of the bathroom accessory is forged with lugs that locate into the mount block preventing it from turning. A grub screw fastens against an angled face securing the accessory firmly. Strong Stainless Steel Rails Cascade Towel Rail tubes are made from strong mirror polished stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance and superior strength. Cascade rails can be cut to custom length if required. 7 8
